Hi Mald0n,

Need help to patch this build. And there are some questions.

This build can’t connect second monitor. There are 4 ports but only first DP port,

black screen upon using other. BUT system can detect the second monitor. On mojave and High sirra have different incidences Please see some picture attached here. Would like to know if it is been patched to work? And about Audio device, this build has no on-board audio , in case if i have a PCIe sound card like Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium SB0880 .Can I use it on macOS? Can I use driver installer from the website without problems?

is a common problem with asus mobo, check ERP option in bios/uefi

 

I tried setting both ErP S4 / ErP S5 and ErP S4/S5 on my asus M/B. The result had nothing changed at all.

The m/b led and fans are still on while monitor completely sleep . This mean it's just a common problem

which no any way to fix at all, right? If yes ,I would not try to find a way to fix anymore LOL. Coz This is

the only problem left on my hack. If I could fix it, this will be a perfect mac for me. but it's ok if no fix.

Quite some time ago I used mmid install etc. then one of your DSDT.aml for my Gigabyte X58-UD3R (V2.0 FH Bios)

I also ran a "CustomBeast-GDMorry"

Now the time has come to try upgrade the system and I was assuming a new DSDT would be in order.

I don't have anything in my signature re what I am running as atm I am trying to get the same board up and running

Gigabyte X58A-udr3 v2.0 has FH bios

I keep going around in circles, have tried the clover folder from here as in this site Olarila - CLOVER.LGA1366.X58

I can get to the select drive to boot the install FROM .. but verbose mode, I have tried numerous settings with in clover and in options but can't get to a Mac osx install screen, I lost track of the settings I have tried, had it on paper but that many tries and my head won't focus

My question is this DSDT file , will that possibly get me over the hurdle ? and from what I have found I use clover configurator to specify the dsdt.aml file within the efi clover folder ...

not sure if any of that makes sense

basically I'm stuck, I think I need go back to the start

ok do you have the clover / refi folder you could please share ?

I am trying to install either , Mojave or Catalina, not bothered which

I Updated applealc and wtg kexts. and Paste DSDT and SSDT File in "Clover/ACPI/Patched"

But Not Fixed the issue.

Your DSDT works well and has made for a clean system with minimal .efi and .kext files. I started with your model EFI and have stripped unneeded files and Clover settings. Added a personal .kext to reduce USB ports to only the used ones and eliminated the PMHeart patch/USBInjectAll. Overall, now a fully functioning, stable system that should require no changes with OS updates. And, as a bonus, the system boots 25% faster. Thanks, again.
