pyrish Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Hi MaLd0n, I've been struggling with my DSDT for quite some time now. I've managed to patch with RM's patch but my battery indicator ALWAYS show as '98%' and if I unplug the power cord, the laptop automatically shuts down. I should note that I have both OS Sierra and Mojave running on the same HDD. My specs: ASUS X540LA i3 5020u Intel HD 5500 Thanks a million. NOTE: I couldn't attach the contents generated by the Runme app since the zip file was way bigger than the limit (13.7 MB). I can't make it smaller unless I remove almost every file except the contents of the EFI Folder. DSDT.aml.zip

No audio using appleALC and no battery meter. it has ALC3286 codec, and seems not compatible with appleALC. Tried latest VoodooHDA but no luck and stuck at boot. I tried this patched DSDT and it has battery meter using SMCbatteryManager kext. Maybe need some other patches? Thank you again! patched.zip

brunobrazsou Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Hello, I do not know if there is a problem with my hack, however it is the first time I do and apparently everything is okay. I wonder if I need to do something to make sure it will not cause problems in the future. I thank everyone Motherboard - GA-Q77M-D2H Processor - I7 3770 Video - EVGA 1070 Send me iMac.zip

pyrish Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 (edited) [ref]pyrish[/ref], DSDT.aml.zip check useful links in my sig Hi MaLd0n, I've tried your patched DSDT but I'm still getting the "98%' on my battery status. Would you mind going over my EFI folder (config.plist + screenshots with kexts list and their location) and see if you notice something out of place/incorrect ? Once again, I would prefer just attaching the results from the Runme.app, but the size is too big for the forum's limit per file. Note: I'm getting this error message when booting in verbose mode: "ACPIBatterymanager: Error : Capacity Read Zero (0)" Thanks once again. Archive.zip Edited June 4, 2019 by Guest
