mtc88 Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 if I put iMac13,2 macpro6,1 or macbookpro9,2 in smbios the clover bootscreen at i can get it to boot, but the gpu is still only showing 7 mb and no acceleration. radpg=15 and the vbios don't help.

I haven't tried that as I've read somewhere that F11 and F12 don't work with MacOs. I'm on bios F14 for now and it works with latest Clover, your patched DSDT and the Clover folder I was using when I had bios F1O, with the Alpine Ridge and the Broadcom wifi installed. But If I take that clover folder and DSDT out and use the default 'CLOVER Folder for all Chipsets' I've got from here without any DSDT so I can boot and run RunMe.app to build a new DSDT and reflect my hardware changes, then I cannot boot. I've posted a picture a couple of posts ago to show you where it gets stuck. Shall I put back the Clover folder with your DSDT I was using with the previous Bios, run the RunMe.app and send you the files? Thanks:)

I suspect the NVME or the Alpine Ridge causing some problem. Also maybe the gonfig.plist I'm using needs the DSDT? Anyway, I added back SSDT-Z370-TB3HP.aml, SSDT-Z370-TB3HP.aml and SSDT-Z370-RX580.aml I had from another forum I found in a thread about thunderbolt and the PCI info shows correct now apart from the BCM43602 card missing. The version of Clover I'm using to boot is 4862 I haven't checked yet if sleep is working. Also I need to check if the second thunderbolt port on the Alpine Ridge is working with hotplug and the USB-C (the second port, USB-C and hotpug never worked with the bios F10 I was using before forcing me to update to F14) Here's the 'send me' zip I've extracted using your previous DSDT you had given me and the SSDTs I've added myself. What Works: Sleep works and it did before. One of the rear USB 3.0 works at 5Gb/sec, and still works full speed after sleep. Both USB 3.0 on the rear keep USB mounted after wake and have no eject issues. Power Button sleep works and so does Apple Menu too. Wake from USB kb and mouse works fine What doesn't work: Audio doesn't not work, didn't previously. The second rear USB 3.0 works at 480 Mb/sec and still works after sleep but still only at 480 Mb/sec. Not Tested: Front Panel USB 3, I haven't got the original case so mounting the header isn't possible without looking crap. I will test tomorrow without mounting for functionality. Is it possible to get my GT 620 1GB working under High Sierra or above, or is Sierra final for this GPU. Perhaps, the kext can be ported. Thanks a bunch. I formatted my PC again because my new WiFi chip came today. Now I'm with BCM94352Z (Dell DW1560). I put the last DSDT.aml file that you sent to me on quote post and put the voodooi2c kexts on clover/kexts/other folder and the trackpad still doesn't working. Now I'm with these problems: 1) Audio not working 2) Touchpad not working 3) The ' and \ keys on keyboard are in wrong place (\ in ' place and vice-versa) 4) Video acceleration not working yet (working on this now) NOT TESTED HDMI yet. I did find that other config which did work but then my brightness doesn't work properly and I get no overlay when the keys are pressed. I updated my current config to inject IntelGFX for correct detection of HD5500 and also changed my SMBIOS to MacBookAir7,2 but still no audio after trying to copy a lot of things from the other config. I worked out how to patch with Hackintool (overwrite existing config to update devices) but still can't get audio with this config and I don't know why. Archive.zip
