I think after u copy that you should run clover agian i may be mistaken .. but if its a dell with uefi u can always select the actually cloverx64file in the bois for a for sure test

its hp pavilion 15 with UEFI but after copy I run copied config in efi to check config maldon

Ok i dont know exactly ur uefi but u may have options that allow u to direct the uefi to find cloverx64 but easier to but with usb delete only your clover folder from efi then copy the one mald0n supplied .... reintall clover after this (make sure u select the right options ) then reboot and hit f4 in the colver menu wait like 10 secs then boot then run the run me

Mald0n, everything works except for audio and sleep,

I tried all the layout ids and didn’t work, is that really the layout of that correspond to my laptop?

Yeah I have flicked it on/off same result, I think everything is fine I'm just getting the still waiting for root device, think with the patched DSDT I need another kext installed that I am missing.

never mind my dumb mistake, I just realized in my testing I went back to an older bios, and since the new DSDT it of course wanted me newer lol.. my mistake.. here is the new runme now.

I changed the layout ids one by one and nothing ? What could be wrong? What about sleep, it still doesn’t work.

Yes, it goes to sleep, but screen does not display anything when I wake it up

no audio with the latest revision, sleeps excellent but no LAN after waking.

with the previous DSDT, it seems to sleep excellent, and wake up no issues except for losing lan connection. Ill do an iPhoto import and leave it on too see if it crashes still.

no more crashing it seems, imported like 200GB of photos into iPhoto with no crash. So I guess my only problem now is no LAN after sleeping.
