I don't see it, maybe because I wasn't looking for it, but now I'm going to analyze the boot, another thing Is that when I go to the bios, it really doesn't give the option to change the disk mode, I don't see the option for AHCI and I've looked extensively,

thank you for your time Mald0n, I just found this out on my laptop

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Archive-Read-Only/How-to-enable-AHCI-for-HP-ENVY-TouchSmart-m6-k015dx/m-p/3310507#M115130

it turns out that my laptop doesn't support AHCI due to a technical reason that HP decided to exclude and replace by RAID

my question to you, is there a workaround to install osx in a situation like this?

create a full video patch

https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=9275

* I made video patch, but screen backlight is the same, I don't know why, but in standard DSDT with AddPLNF Fix screen backlight is better

* USB3 still slow and sleep/wake don't work. Did you change something ?

* With your first DSDT CPU Frequency is better (From 1.3Ghz to 2.5GHz CPU, and GPU 350MHz to 850MHz). In second DSDT CPU's minimum frequency is 2.2GHz to 2.5GHz and GPU 850. I think it's bad for battery and temperature. Geekbench also show worst results with second DSDT variant. Can you make fix for CPU as in the first variant ? I show in specification, that for GPU rang must be from 300 to 900, can you also fix it ?

P.s.

- TurboBoost max value 2.5Ghz, but processor can 2.7Ghz

Can't, because 2.5 I'ts for 2 CPU cores and 2.7 for 1. It's my mistake, sorry.

Great otherwise.

Any help appreciated.

Hello,

I have a problem with this install

Gigabyte Z370N WiFi

i5 8400

Everything works fine, but I have an issue when I plug two monitors. If I turn it on with one monitor it works fine. If I plug the second monitor it also works fine and can do all the setups. But if I power on the computer with both monitors connected, it doesn't boot up.

And I'll like to add that, after turning screen off the screen won't turn on showing image, only black. I'm using an AOC monitor with 1440p. I had it hooked to a 1080p monitor and it worked fine.

Third update - If I connect the monitor to the HDMI output and not the HDMI2.0, it works fine
