Hi MaLd0n,


I have a challenge for you. Old Lenovo M57, Nvidia GT710, 10.14.3 installed on Fusion Drive. All perfect. Only remaining open issue is restart and shutdown. Clover shutdown fix is not working. Please help. Donated for beer, Thx! :wallbash

Just installed Mojave 10.14.3 using your images and have been through all the steps. I have an Asus H97M-E mobo with a NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 GPU and 20GB of RAM.


I know I can tweak it with kext and drivers, but I thought I would get a request to patch the DSDT as described in your procedure for any changes or suggestions you may have. Attached is the "send me" zip file after I executed the RunMe app.


Video seems to be working but not optimized (I don't think it is running hardware acceleration because it is an NVIDIA card and NVIDIA still does not have any web drivers available yet for Mojave). I can switch to my mobo's internal GPU (Intel HD 4400), which can run with hardware acceleration, but that would be my last resort.


Finally, Audio is not working. I know I can install the right kexts for it, but I will wait for the patched DSDT. By the way, I am using HDMI audio from my video card. I know I have been able to successfully use the right kext/drivers for the mobo's Realtek ALC887 on Mojave, but could never get the HDMI audio working.

UPDATE: I rebooted and got the HDMI Sound working. Still I don't think my NVIDIA is working in an optimized manner.


Still, would like to get the DSDT patched as you may recommend.

Thanks. A couple of things I noticed when I copied the entire CLOVER folder:


1. While the HDMI sound works through my monitor, now it does not allow me to control the volume through preferences or the statusbar icon


2. Looks like the patch takes care of the built in Intel HD 4400 video card, but not sure if anything was done for my main NVIDIA GT730 video card.

Hi,

restart and shutdown not working yet. :( attached send me zip. I have discovered a bug un Run Me. app. It's not mounting EFI on APFS fusion drive. My EFI is on disk0s1 as FAT32. I have put my Clover archive attached separately. :P

Also I receive quite often the message of CMOS tampered and reset to defaults when I shutdown or restart. Maybe Clover is messing with my CMOS/Nvram and altering some settings... :help

Hi!

I just have installed Mojave. I managed to get graphics and sound working. I tried to patch DSDT to get battery status and brightness control working but I experienced many issues. At this moment my battery status is stuck at 100%, I don't have brightness control, my laptop doesn't go to sleep when I close the lid, when I put it to sleep in Apple logo menu it seems to be working but after waking it up the light in the power button keeps pulsing (as if the laptop was still in sleep). Also I'm not able to right click. I can only do that by clicking with 2 fingers. I have never in my life had that many issues while installing macOS on a PC. I would be very very grateful for help. Thank you in advance! :)

I probably need to leave this at it is, I do not understand anything about this and the

Clover Configurator doesn't make it easier for me.lol

My system works but probably not to full potential, but I have no clue how

to go on with this,

I have the app and the DSDT.aml file but have no clue how to load it into Clover Configurator :(

For example, how do I use the DSDT file?

I did install my system with multishit but in the simplest way.

Before the multishit could load a DSDT file but I do not find it anymore in the app
