first thanks for your time and work helping us guys..

A couple of beers already on their way ..

so, after adding your DSDT file now i have battery percentage !!

my only issues are:

-USB 3.0 still not recognized (laptop only has 1 usb 3.0 port) all other usb ports are working but they are 2.0. even the card reader works under the usb 2.0 hub) I do have the 10.13.6 USB patch by PM. when i go to system report it doesn't show a usb 3.0 hub.

- when i choose sleep from menu the screen goes blank but computer never goes to sleep and i have to press power and restart to get it back on.

-shutdown doesn't work as the screen goes blank but it never shuts down. i have to hold power button until it shuts down.

one last thing

im using bootflag nv_disable=1 to disable the nvdia discrete but sometime the screen still blank when it boots up. should i try to patch your dsdt to disable the nvidia gpu and not use the boot flag ?

any ideas ?

If i reinstall later 10.14.3 the DSDT is still good ?

I got what thought were all the right patches from rehabman's repo. it seems to have compiled error free. I put DSDT.aml in clovers patched directory. but didn't seem to change anything. and still when I click battery monitor in taskbar it unchecked automatically... can someone do my patching for me?

I tried namely for brightness contrast and battery

Hi - I need a brightness modifier patch, a backlight patch, touchpad gestures, and battery management (I don't have a battery icon or anything that shows battery life). I have an ASUS Pro B944UA.

There is also a minor issue where the HDMI has to be plugged only after booting is done and not before I boot into Mojave.

This is unrelated but I also get the following error when I try downloading something from the AppStore: "An error occurred during purchase. An unknown error has occurred"

Ok, disabled that patch, but now computer will not boot. Even tried removing the nvdia=1 boot flag.

I don’t think I installed any kexts in the system folders.

Should I check for anything in particular ?

All my kexts are in clover/other

Do you want me to boot using usb installer and just to check s/l/e for a kext that shouldn’t be there ?

Well the only kext that could be there is voodoohda for my audio. Other than that all my kext on clover folder

I have tried this DSDT.aml in High Sierra and Mojave

I have generate SSDT with Piker Script

High Sierra, going to sleep but screen not wakes up and it must be button reset. SpeedStep works whit that SSDT, but Wake on Lan won't works and power saver has missed the checkbox wake for network access

In Mojave, it goes to sleep, takes long time to sleep (2,3 min) and when it wakes up one SATA internal disk is ejected and I get multicolor umbrella (Spinning pinwheel) the system is hang. SpeedStep won't works (Processor frequency is at the top) and Wake On Lan won't works, Power Saver also have missed take for network access checkbox

Hello everyone...

The dsdt Im using is the one from mald0n.

After his battery patch I could still boot.

The problem is he asked me to disable the _DSM to ZDSM patch and then I wasn’t able to boot, after I resubmitted my send me file.

What should I do next ?

Is there a Kext creating a conflict ?

After I can get the shutdown fixed and the sleep I’ll be all good.
