It still recognizes as an external disk. It's not a problem but i'm kinda feel strange. Thank you for the DSDT patch!

hello Maldon. A little over a year ago you helped me with a dsdt for my hackintosh. I just upgraded my gfx card from an ATI HD5770 to an RX 480 and I need help editing the dsdt for the new card. Everything seems ok OTB but I would like to make sure. I want to get HDMI audio working too, and all 5 of the ports. I'm still on 10.12.6 but now that I have the RX 480 and Metal support I will install High Sierra soon. I also made a beer donation and included a screenshot in the sendme folder. Thanks again for your help and have a great day!

Hi MaLd0n and thank you for your suggestion, I managed to make USB 3 work, but I would like to know how to check if the USB 3 device speed is correct. To try I copied a file about 6gb in about 3 minutes. I currently use your Clover folder for High Sierra with the only change of the USB ports excluded

can anyone helpme? I dont have audio and usb onlines works if I let plug in usb when y turn on my laptop. Lenovo x260, i5 6500, 16gb ram ddr4, 500gb ssd, intel 520 and buttons on trackpad only works like right buttons, and I have to maintain button press to works

MalD0n Im very noob and dummy... can you be more specific? those tutorials are too advanced for me. Let me explain... Im trying with mackintosh because I can't afford Mac book. I need Mac for work. in my country we have severals problems with getting jobs so I need this to work fine... anyone with team viewer can help me?

Hello There,


One of the admins for this site recommended i get a DSDT patch for the issues still on my laptop.

-USB 3.0 not working. ( well i got it to work using CalDigitUSB but system report doesn't show USB 3.0 hub even though the computer sees the 3.0 flash drive attached)

-Battery icon is active but it indicates 0 charge. (I Already have Rehabman battery kext on my efi/clover folder)

-Sleep Doesn't work

-Shutdown doesn't fully work as the screen turns black and fan comes on full speed but the computer will not fully shut off. (Same as sleep)

-internal Card Reader not working


Everything was working under Yosemite.. Im hoping i can get everything again on High Sierra.

Thank you don. Now everything seems to work, but the boot sequence is really slow compared to when we started to work on this machine.
