the sound works but the internal microphone does not work? I try several ID 3 11 14 28 none works the codec is "ALC235",

and also the wifi I try things but nothing "Wirless 7265" neither in mojave nor high sierra you have a solution?

I need serial port on my hacintosh for programming AVR and serial logging.

In bios I have set serial to AUTO IRQ.

Hello,

I'm trying to get High Sierra running on my setup.

not that easy on 5960x

I still have troubles with USB3, not working at all.

Also, the performance of the CPU could be a little better.

Any change i try to make in the config.plist or EFI results in macos crashing at startup..

Could you please have a look ?

I tried to replace my CLOVER folder with the one you provide for x99 and then enter all the patches from the post you mentioned that looked relevant.

Several tries, and always KP, last loaded kext "voodooTSCSync"

I can't make the DSDT you gave me working, still no luck with usb

I did another clean install, here's my SENDme file

Greetings and thanks in advance for helping!

I am running a home-built machine, High Sierra, with:

- i7-8700k processor

- Asus Prime Z390-A motherboard

- G.Skill 32GB 2400MHz DDR4

- Radeon RX 580 video card

- Broadcom BCM94360CD WiFi/BT/continuity card (on adapter)

- Asus Thunderbolt 3 expansion card (not yet working)

The BIOS is up-to-date (first thing I did during hardware assembly).

This is a from-scratch High Sierra installation where I have been working the Clover configuration & kext selections myself (with research).

I couldn't tell with Olarila Clover folder would be applicable to a Z390 chipset, but I have attached my kext file and config.plist for reference/suggestions.

Video card works.

Sound works.

Ethernet works but sometimes loses link when system is idle; fix is to unplug/replug cable.

Bluetooth works.

WiFi card sees networks but can't actually join (tells me wrong password; password is not wrong).

Sleep/shutdown/restart don't work properly.

Oh, and for some reason there is a debris install partition that shows in Clover. It doesn't work and I'd love for it to go away.

EDIT to add: Just rebooted and got a screen that ends in:

Error allocating 0x11832 pages at 0x0000000019dd7000 alloc type 2
Couldn't allocate runtime area

but after a couple of hard reboots I was able to get back in.

I did remove the TSCAdjustReset kext from the EFI/CLOVER/kext folder as you suggested.

Still no luck and KP at boot.
