This is a great community, thanks for everything here!

10.14.2 running fine so far, waiting for web drivers for my gtx1070.

This is a prebuilt ASUS Essentio with a cm6870 h77 with an i7 3770. Firmware is latest rev.

No specific issues come to mind. Maybe occasional graphic glitches (probably from lack of drivers), reboot, or USB issues (nothing horrible or chronic). Otherwise it seems very stable.

I do not need audio as I use bluetooth speaker or Logitech headset.

I'm curious if you would expect any issues in Mojave if I installed a gtx660 along with my gtx1070, so I can use the 660 in Mac and the 1070 in windows. I have not used the workaround to use old drivers.

Hi MaLd0n,

Sleep and restart is creating problems.

When I leave my hackintosh for a while, the screen goes off. When I come back, and hit any key, the desktop is back, but I am not able to click anywhere because the Finder hangs and I get the beachball rotating(busy cursor). I also try to Relaunch the Finder, but it doesn't restore. FInally I have to force restart the machine to get the Finder working.

P.S. I have kept the Sleep settings to "Never". But still the display turns off/goes to sleep.

And In case of Restart, sometimes it works, sometimes it hangs, and then wherever I click, no action happens.

Hi! I'm hoping that I can get some help. I'm not new to hackintosh but I am new to learning about dsdt and optimization. I have an acer e5 573 with a core i3 5005u (Broadwell) and iGPU (intel hd 5500). I am having major issues and I think I require a patched dsdt. I am unable to boot any version of macos into the installer. I have tried UEFI and Legacy boot. I get a bunch of acpi errors before it reboots. I can try to get a picture if it would help. If I receive the original dsdt and ssdt files from clover (F4), would someone be able to patch the dsdt for me? Also can someone please explain where I should place the patched dsdt. I do not have a mac to work from. I only have Windows 10 and ubuntu. Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post.

I am student and I begin learn xCode in my Asus G501VW hackintosh

I just installed hackintosh but I am not patch any DSDT because it is impossible with me

My laptop now have some problem:

+ Screen brightness can not adjust

+ Fn key and backlight Keyboard can not use (and some key can not use also)

+ Battery alway 0%

+ The mouse can not stop when use touchpad

Hi MaLd0n, thanks for the help so far! I downgraded back to High Sierra due to Pro Tools not being compatible with Mojave as well as Nvidia support dropping. I'm using the DSDT from before and the firewire issue is fixed, even though it doesn't show the firewire card in PCI devices anymore. Bluetooth, however, can't be turned off. I also have PCI Thunderbolt Add In Card installed. The GC Alpine Ridge card. Is there any way to make my USB Card Reader recognized in System Profiler as an Apple Built In Card Reader? Also, how does my Clover config look?

I think it needs an edited dsdt patch for booting on macOS, can't boot with mojave

After a DSDT patch, Mac worked very well for a few days. After this, it started to get stuck on the apple logo. I tried a lot of Cmos Reset, fresh install ... but sometimes it works sometimes doesn't work well. I can't assign a XPM profile, if I do it must choice XPMDedection=No in clover. I can't overclock the CPU by any means ,I can't DVMT Pre-Allocated :128M or another number, if do it must untick Intel Inject in clover.... when I delete DSDT from clover instead, it works fine but also when it is in the system report window the PCI partition is empty. I am surprised and desperate. Can you help me again?

Awesome, thanks! Now I don't have a kernel panic when shutting down. Audio doesn't show up, though, am I doing something wrong? And should I clean up my config.plist, and how? I tried removing the DSDT patches from the config.plist, but it just broke everything and it wouldn't start anymore...

Hi. I've been struggling with my HP Notebook 2000 2B89WM for about a month now. Trying to upgrade to High Sierra with no success, and now Mojave. I can install it fine but the problem is in trying to get graphics acceleration, audio, power management, battery, and touchpad (works as a mouse now). Detailed system specs (an him file renamed txt so that it could upload here) and the "Send me" files are attached. Thanks for the help. Cheers! Jeff

Since the original post I used Clover Configurator, selected FixHDA in Acpi, and in Devices selected Inject "1" in Audio. Bingo! Audio now works. I also had to use MacBookPro12,1 in SMBIOS . . . it wouldn't boot as 8,1.

Update: After doing a battery-life test (playing Monty Python's Holy Grail on Youtube, lasted 52 mins on battery) the system now has no audio again on reboot.

Everything great now, installed new wifi card and everything is active now. Do I need new DSDT since I added the card? Also can't get to BIOS anymore...any tips??

It includes these rows:
