[ref]adrjac[/ref], btw, amd rx serie 4 and 5 is a same gpu, just have some updates ;)

Ahh I see. I will just have to rename the GPU in about this Mac :). I was able to boot with just AptioMemoryFix-64.efi. However, the shutdown/sleep/restart times are still the same as before. Unlock pc using watch feature still not working.

EDIT: shutdown just took 16 seconds to execute, sleep still takes about the same amount of time.

EDIT2: I got the same 'couldn't allocate runtime area' error after shutdown. it seems like its a hit or miss.

Found the fix! :) I instead of using OsxAptiMemoryFix-64.efi, I ended up using OsxAptiMemoryFix-64_free2000.efi instead and it boots up/shutdown/sleep-wake faster. Handoff is solved by retoggling ‘unlock with watch/iphone’ in passcode settings.

I was hoping that there’s still a way to speed up my sleep and wake functionality. Even though it’s faster now, it’s still not fast enough for me. If there’s any other way to reduce the load times, that would be even better.

I am highly appreciated with your help and for creating a custom DSDT for my system. Thank you :)

System sometimes feels a bit sluggish periodicaly for 5-10sec then it works for 10-20sec and stutters again. USB 2.0 doesn't work in USB 3.0 ports. GPU only shows 2 screens. Although card has 4 Mini Displayports and is OOB supported HD7750 (Cape Verde Pro Eyefinity 4 port). CPU doesn't do full turbo boost to 3.9 only up to 3.7. I think booth CPU and gfx should be rob with powermanagement but something is odd. Maybe I should remove lily and whatevergreen? System is:

Lenovo ThinkStation S30

Xeon E5-1620 V2

128 GB DDR3 ECC (8x16)

128 GB Samsung SSD

Club3D Radeon Pro Eyefinity 4 Low Profile (4xMiniDP) (HD7750 pro / Cape Verde Pro)

One 27" 4k screen and two 24" 2k screens

Please help with DSDT and SSDT.

Hi!

I recently started to try installing Mojave on my machine: i7 4790K, Asus Z97-A USB 3.1 and Nvidia 780Ti.

I have followed all the tutorial steps and installation went fine. The problem is when I try to boot without the USB stick. The system gets stuck at the following point (I attach image):

xLVJF6k

I also attach the send_me folder I generated with RumMe app.

Thanks for your time

I noticed that my computer woke itself up from sleep, but I realized that powernap was enabled. I disabled it and hopefully it fixes it.

MaLd0n - I had spent a great deal of time trying to get the touch-pad to work and I couldn't figure it out. I tried various kexts for I2C HID, but still couldn't get it to work. The link you sent me may be the same kexts I tried a couple weeks ago, but I tend to think it needs some more DSDT work from what I read. Apparently sometimes the DSDT has to changed along with the kext. I could be wrong, so your insight is appreciated. As far as Bluetooth and Wireless- in Windows it says Realtek 8821AE

I checked the BIOS and there isn't much in there. I just made sure Wireless and Bluetooth were turned on and they were. I reinstalled VooDooPS2controller following all of RehabMan's instructions and it's still not working. The touchpad still doesn't work either. Any other suggestions?

use power button for wake

The new DSDT has much faster boot times, shutdown is a little faster now than before. my pc takes longer to go to sleep, but waking up is almost instant. I'm very curious what's going on behind the DSDT modifications. What can cause my PC to sleep much slower now? I'm pretty impressed how faster boot/shutdown/wake from sleep is now.
