Hi!


I'm trying to get this hackintosh working and it's turning into a nightmare

It's a GA Z370 gaming 7op (without optane memory) / i7 8700K / gtx 1070 . macos on a 960evo M2


- USB not working like it should

- my sata hdd i use for data (hfs+) not showing :shock:

- i need intel quicksync (igpu+dgpu) for final cut pro purposes

- sleep not working even if i select "sleep" from the apple menu...


- that's for a start i might bump into other problems

:frantics Audio and ethernet do work :frantics


Could you please help me with that ?

Hi MaLd0n,

I installed Mojave 10.14.1 it's all perfectly working except the USB ports. I can read only USB drives but if I connect a 2.5 hard drive it won't show and also when I shut down the computer, all connected devices remain working (usb hard drive continues to spin and my rgb keyboard gets all the lights on). My configuration is in the left box. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

avoid change GPU and nvme for other slot extract new SEND_ME after reboot, i need check things about TBH

 

Now the Nvidia Card has gone from System Report> Graphics / Displays, but unfortunately it doesn’t completely remove the card, because the card fans are still spinning and card glows

i've done it also before with script: SSDT-DiscreteSpoof.dsl but it's not enough for me, so I need the card to STOP glowing and the fans STOP spinning.

First hackintosh build.


MB: ASUS ROG Strix Z370-G (Wi-Fi)

CPU: 8600K

GPU: Sapphire RX 580

I am at the part where you are using MaciASL. In your 10.14.1 folder I cant find the SERIE 10 20 30.txt file you used in the video. Is that needed? I have 38 warnings, 127 remarks, 358 optimizations.


Lots of problems. Onboard wifi doesn't work that's a big one. I don't really know what to do next. DONATED.

Can someone help me with dsdt and config.plist for my Kabylake -r laptop?

Some of the problems are : no backlight slider , no trackpad , no audio from headphones and inaccurate battery indicator (off by 3-4% compared to bios and coconut battery).

Hi Mald0n :) , I am happy with my current installation thanks to the help you gave me one day. Thanks for that.


Now I have changed my 1060 for a Shappire Pulse RX580 8Gb, which is perfect in High Sierra without installing anything at all.


I want to update Mojave, do I need to touch something in particular?

HS = High Speed / USB 2

SS - Super Speed / USB 3

 

I believe I have solved the USB port limit issue.
