I'm not finding a lot of information for the Dell Inspiron 17 i5-4200U 7737 laptop. I've installed High Sierra 10.13.1 and worked through some graphics issues... mostly scrambled graphic windows with non-Apple applications... did the brightness patch... and some other stuff.

Now I'm looking for Audio patches, and I figured to ask you to improve the DSDT/SSDT files for this system... your knowledge exceeds mine, no doubt.

Thanks, but... tried DSDT provided... it give Kernel Panic during initial OS X boot... attached Report...

Looks like right after Sound Assertion then quickly restarts...

FYI ... using only AptioMemoryFix-64.efi ... tried removing OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi... same KP.

Found that LILU.KEXT was older 1.2.7... updated to 1.2.8... it boots into desktop now, but graphics say HD5000 not HD4400.

Very slow responsive...

Still no audio...

Comparing my DSDT to yours now... will report back...

hi, The Great MaLd0n, pl help me to patch my DSDT

my setup:

CPU: i7-8700K

Motherboard: ASUS Z370-P

GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB

I only use RX580 as output, intel 630 as for background acceleration. So in BIOS I set PEG as primary output, enable IGPU MONITOR.

I still a question: what if I use dsdt, what kexts need to be thrown away and what need to be changed in config.plist?

I'm happy to trouble shoot and see which patch is causing the KP... My guess is - since it KP before any Kexts are loaded - is a controller patches that was applied... can we try again without any controller patches...
