valeryimm Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Hi, I'm trying to solve my problem. Skylake, Intel HD540 4K. The problem exists on both High Sierra and Mojave. With fake ig-platform-id = 0x12345678 it boots fine. But with the real ig-platform-id = 0x19260000 computer boots into black screen . It cannot reach Login Window. Terminal Sleep-Wake Log shows that computer goes into "Clamshell Sleep". After I can wake it up by closing and open lid, this way I am able to reach Login Window. I suspect that I need to do some extra patches in my DSDT Please help!!! Or maybe someone had this behaviour before? valeryimm Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Hey MaLd0n, I would like to thank you for your support, first. I tried different framebuffer patches from that guide. When I wake my computer up with opening the lid, all graphics works fine, no problem. That's what I cannot understand. Only booting goes to black screen (as I think into Clamshell Sleep) Even there were days, when it was booting fine. Suddenly, next day started booting into black screen again with nothing changed. Thanks
