HI M. Sending for you for edit.

Audio is working. Efi working. Usbs are working too. dual boot fine and working with windows10. vega64 is recognized in system report. no flashing or funny failures at boot. however cpu is not the right one

its says i5 xeon 6 core but i have i7 8700

FCPX is crashing as soon as i click on transfer media, or transitions or any content with is should come up in the preview window. something in the report says is the gclvirtualscreenfailed when i check the report. the only reason i started the whole thing is try out fcpx

bytheway after the first boot from ssd the system overview show the right details about the cpu after i used the dsdt from u for clover (*100/200/300*) it changed to i5 xeon

U need put two files in folder, not a folder arquivo comprimido

is a system file, take test with one fresh install, install clover and use my clover folder

 

Today was my first opportunity to try. I am still having freezing issues. Should I try re-downloading OS X High Sierra and remake my USB installer? then reinstall? BTW I sent you a donation (Confirmation number: 52F760623L500982X). Thank you for your efforts. I'll send more when I am running without KP.

Hi I've got a custom Clover folder for my notebook, unable to boot with the Files from the guide,

I am able to boot into Mojave though performance is not as good as performance on HS with the same config and I'm not too sure on how to make changes.


I've attached SendMe & Clover folder, please could I get assistance with suggested patching to improve performance / suggest updated kexts?


Would it be possible to use Notebook GTX 1050 4GB?

Currently this setup only supports Intel HD 630.


On HS 'About' shows graphics as 'Intel HD 630 1536MB' though on Mojave graphics shows as 'Intel HD Graphics KBL CRB 1536MB'


Notebook Specs:

Gigabyte Sabre 17

CPU - i7-7700HQ

Intel HD 630

GTX 1050 4GB

RAM 16GB - 2x 8GB 2400MHz DDR4

Here ya go. I reinstalled with a fresh download of macOS 10.13.6, using new clover download (Original version was 4635, current version is 4644). Replaced clover folder with yours. Still getting random KP. Also showing these warnings in the compiler summary. (see pic)

warnings in dsdt = nothing ;)


KP appears if u use Hardware Acceleration? try with shikigva=60

Tried it, KP while installing Adobe CC updates. I saw a suggestion on another forum board that suggested I turn off Memory Profile 1. Which I did. I am testing now. I'll let you know how it goes.

the problem is it, hardware acceleration, x299 don't have a intelHDGraphics and cause some problems, with Intel Quick Sync is perfect

Okay, So KP seems to have been solved by disabling "Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P): Profile 1"


So now my question is, if the XMP was not necessary then is the rest of the settings I used correct or is this wrong as well (My motherboard is an X299 Aorus Ultra Gaming)?


1.) /M.I.T/Advanced Frequency Settings/

a.) Extreme Memory Profile: (X.M.P): Profile1 *** Now Disabled


2.) /M.I.T/Advanced Frequency Settings/Advanced CPU Core Settings

a.) Active Cores Control: Manual

b.) Hyper-Threading Technology: Enabled

c.) Enhanced Multi-Core Performance: enabled/disabled (optional; individual CPU compatibility yet to be verified)

d.) CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E): Enabled

e.) C6/C7 State Support: Enabled

f.) Package C State limit: C6

g.) CPU EIST Function: Disabled


3.) /M.I.T/Advanced Memory Settings/

u can use disable


xmp is a profiles and cause some problems in many cases


in my mobo i have some problems with xmp too, i don't use it now

just secure boot and if need CSM


change bios only if u have problems ;)

Could you please help me patch my DSDT, also I've used KGP new method of iMac Pro on the X99, I'm not sure I'm using the correct USB patch and Broadwell-E performance patch PMHeart. I've attached my clover if that helps. thanks for all the help on the forums. Beer incoming to you!

@MaLd0n , please help me.

Everything on my laptop working great , except from battery indicator. Battery percentage doesn't change until I uncheck and recheck it. I think it has something to do with my ddst.

Can you check it , please ?
