I have 2 problems :

1) When turning on after sleep, audio is lost.Have to change source (internal to headphones or the opposite) to work again.

2) Sleep works fine if click on apple --> sleep. But when I close the lid and then reopen it system freezes and I have to power down.

Can you help me with these? Other than that system is running great.

Hi Guys/Gals,

I need to have you patch my DSDT. I want to learn the process as well, but I am in a hurry and don't have the time to devote to it right now. So I have to give in and let some one do it for me.

My hack boots up great. Seems to wake from sleep (sometimes) but I am getting random OS freezes and no KP messaging and some apps (Chrome in particular) keep randomly crashing as well.

I also do not have native audio. I am attaching the required file.

I made attempts at adding the correct kexts, but then realized there were also DSDT patches required. I am not yet familiar enough to feel comfortable with it. And since this is a rebuild of my work machine, I need it to be right.

My current build is as follows:

Mainboard: Gigabyte X299 Aorus Ultra Gaming

CPU: Intel i7 7820X 3.6 Ghz 8 core

GPU: Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX580

NVMe: Samsung 950 pro

Ram: 32Gb Mushkin DDR4

Please let me know if there is anything else I need to provide. I will HAPPILY donate if I can get this system working correctly.

Thank you for your efforts. I had to use the boot argument npci=0x2000 in order to boot. System would hang at a blank screen after some of the verbose boot. I didn't get to see an error or KP message. But attached is the new "Send Me" file. Let me know if you need anything else. Thank you again!

Doesn't solve problems , either audio or lid open.

Think it's a problem with dsdt. Can we check it ?
