For the sound i installed the VoodooHDA282.kext.

Do you have a tutorial for me to patch dsdt files?

Hi Artur-pt,

Sorry for the confusion and you are right of course: my WiFi chip has been reported as unsupported, but I was just hoping that meanwhile something has changed in this regard. The same goes for NVIDIA Optimus. If you are saying they are still beyond my reach, so be it. As for the DSDT file, I must have grabbed one I had found on the forum. Sorry for that. Attaching unmodified ACPI file set created by Clover at boot time.

Thanks a lot.

I need some help to get Brightness and Sleep Alienware 17 with a Haswell processor and a GTX860m (intel card is disabled).

The zip file

hello

u should boot clover without dsdt .. u dsdt u extract is already patched ...

or try to extract the original acpi tables in clover GUI before boot .. hit F4

Where can you obtain the initial DSDT that needs to be patched? There are different ways involving Windows, Linux or OS X. If you were able to start Clover somehow, you can enter its GUI and press F4. If Clover was installed on a FAT32 partition, then it will be able to save all ORM ACPI tables, including DSDT and FADT. The process can take a while, especially when saving many tables to a USB flash drive.

https://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Fixing-DSDT#Technical-background

anyway just try this ones .. ur graphics are in ssdt table

Thanks.

I've tried a couple of different configurations here but it seems I'm out of luck. I had to return to NullCPUPowerManagement (for now) because I had random crashes with random configurations. I really don't know what I'm missing here. I even created two thread in the other forums to see if someone is able to help with the remaining issues (I don't know about the rules if I can post links from other forums here, but I'll not spam my problem in a DSDT patch request thread).

Any recommendation?
