piromanneo Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Hi thanks for dsdt.. With your dsdt i have orange hdd icons but usb problems are fixed so thanks for that. Have not tried sleep yet. ALC882 fix is not working no input devices are connected. I've patched AppleHDA.kext with HDA Patcher with 882 files, and installed it with kext utility Btw my fan problems are gone, because there is buggy LPCSensors.kext in FakeSMC that causes fans to stop working under OSX

Any future guidance is welcomed. EDIT : ALC WORKS, there I made a typo in buffer value.. EDIT2: Only rear panel audio works, front ports don't work. Thanks guys you rock. Btw is there any way to inject audio kext with clover ? (That i can have more vanilla build )

t3500master Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Hi Looking for a shutdown fix. No shutdown kexts work for me, also booting with DSDT=no doesn't let me shut down. OSX quits but I have to hold the power button to actually kill power. Tried to apply the DSDT Shutdown fix downloaded from here and my _PTS method looks like this: Method (_PTS, 1, NotSerialized) { If (LEqual (Arg0, 0x05)) {} Else { PSKM (Arg0) } } Not sure if this is right. DSDT attached. Fixed USB EHCI issues, everything is built in. AICPUPM loads fine. Only kexts I use now now are FakeSMC and Ethernet. Using 10.10.1. Thank you so much for any help. sendme.zip

t3500master Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Hey awesome! It worked! PC shut down perfectly! In fact, before you responded I was able to fix it myself by adding the HPET fix and some code from this topic: http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1033 Strange, since there are no hpet errors in the console log. What did you do to fix it? Looking at your DSDT fix, there's no modification to the HPET device... I've attached what I did to fix it myself if you're interested. Only thing not working now is wake from sleep - PC goes to sleep now with this fix and sleep states S3 S4 and S5 are defined in the console log, but it doesn't wake. Again, thank you, you're a genius. sendme.zip
artur-pt Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 hello nice to know it work for the shutdown only make a few tweaks in usb .. and apply also the intelshutdown .. about the wake .. try to see in console any msg about possibles issues.. good hack PB Easy Note TM 86 - i5 430 M - H55M - Ram - 6 GB - Alc272 - Radeon HD 5470 512 QE/CI Lenovo G500 - i5 3230m - HM77 - Ram - 8 GB - Conexant audio - HD 4000 My OS X Files
t3500master Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Turns out I was just impatient. The Hack does wake, but it takes about 4 minutes to recover to the password screen. The console log says: wake reason: VBTN (assuming this means the power button) when I wake with spacebar it says USB3, but no errors besides "RTC: PowerByCalendarDate setting Ignored". At that speed I might as well do a full reboot. From reading around it looks like I'm pretty lucky to have it wake at all and still have usb and internet working! Is there a way to make it recover from sleep faster than 4 minutes? I attached my system.log. Thanks. system.log.zip
