Hi, I have this Laptop, with Mavericks 10.9 on, it's almost done but a few things are missing.

Sleep isn't working: There's no HD activity led on the laptop so it's kind of difficult to say. It's got just an "ON" led.

Anyway, when i put it in to sleep mode screen go black but I'm pretty sure system it's still on.

And after a little while it awakes by himself.

I've tryied many fixes: darkwake=0, darkwake=10 in chameleon, also checked pmset -g assertions on terminal and all seems ok but nothing changes.

I hear fan stopping and resuming work constantly (I've patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement and no NullPowerManagement).

Have DSDT and SSDT with proc specs on it done with ssdtPRgen.

Also battery is not working properly.

before installing DSDT i've installed AppleSmartbatteryManager and it was working fine, the indicator on the menu bar was giving charge infos.

After putting on the DSDT battery it's working but there's always 100% carge, and it reads power supply on also when I'm unplugged, so i don't know how much charge I've left.

can you please edit the dsdt for me?

thanks A lot

Ok, thank you for the fast reply

Apparently nothing changed.

I mean: 0 errors, but sleep is always at the same point. Black screen but fan is somehow in a loop start-stop..

And battery is still 100%, power supply connected, when currently I'm on battery.

Edit: I noticed a USBXHCI error on -v boot, but in the end all usb ports are working.

Hi

I need a little help to patch the line 12 for AppleHDA. I compile my DSDT in Maciasl but get error.

I also need native USB ports to work, currently it is not working at all :(

Thank you a lot !

Hi, just make some attempt.

Click the STOP command and:

After a few seconds i can hear the fan stopping definitely as it was going to sleep, but immediately awekening again and the battery led starts to flash in red.

After that i've opened terminal and the results of pmset -g assertions is:

24/06/14 12:02:04 AM GMT
Assertion status system-wide:

  PreventUserIdleSystemSleep 0

Kernel Assertions: 0x100=MAGICWAKE
  id=503  level=255 0x100=MAGICWAKE mod=24/06/14 12:10 AM description=en0 owner=en0

So there is a process preventing sleep

do you know what acwakelinger is?

Edit: After a while the process acwakelinger is gone and the pmset command returns 0 processes, so I'm going to make another try, and result is the same as before

So this process acwakelinger is triggered somehow by sleeping attempt i guess..

Edit 2: this is the output of pmset -g log grep wake:

i've nothing on USB.

I've Chameleon r2377 as bootloader

here's my org.chameleon.boot.plist

There are a couple of strange entries there:

WiFi enabler is something I've found in a forum, but is not working (I have Atheros AR5BWB222 so I use a USB dongle)

I read somwhere that with Ivy Bridge and patched AppleIntelCPUPowermanagement there's no need for generate C and P states in a LAPTOP?

some days ago I've tried with Sleepenabler.kext, whom I've been using well with Lion and ML, but I had a serious kernel panic with AppleIntelCPUPowermnagement, and I had to reinstall sys!!

I have a doubt though, that at the same time system updates was active and it had installed, without my knowledge, 10.9.3 and of course a factory AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.

So maybe this was the cause for KP and not Sleepenabler as I thought.

I will try again

Hi guys, I've recently got a Dell Precision M6400 so I successfully installed Mavericks on it.

It seems to be very stable and almost everything is working.

However I cannot wake from sleep (it seems working without problem): when I press the power button it seems to wakeup but then nothing happens (screen off and no input/output).

I'm actually using the patch included in this guide (even if I used myHack to be able to install).

here is my send_me file, any advice?

Thanks in advance!

maybe rehabman's system_WAK1.txt or system_WAK2.txt could help?

hello artut-pt, yeah! You're right.. I followed the other guy's guide to be able to install.

And again you're right, I should never use dsdt from another pc.. So I'm here asking help to get a proper one.

And I would love also to learn something more, so maybe I'll be able to patch my pc's dsdt by myself, because I would like to discard nullcpupm and my extra folder contains only boot and smbios plists other than the supposed dsdt.

No worries my friend if you can't really really help me anymore.. I owe you a beer anyway!
