Try setting FixMask to 0 or apply nVidia _OFF on original DSDT. Try setting FixMask to 0 or apply nVidia _OFF on original DSDT. Hero!!! You just made my day Setting FixMask to 0 woks like a charm. Don't know what you mean with nVidea _OFF though, maybe you can explain (just curious) Temp has gone from idle 70 to an amazing 53, that's 17degrees!! One strange thing has come up when restarting: Machine shuts down completely, I can hear "tick" but the powerled stays on, as if it is going to sleep, then it auto powers on-->off-->on-->off-->BIOS. btw do i make a new topic for my sentelic fsp, bluetooth and usb-mouse??
pernacabeluda Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I mean that I applied the _OFF method on your patched DSDT (by Clover), you can try applying it to the original DSDT and keep the FixMask you used previously. I attached your DSDT from Linux with the _OFF method in the previous post. -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE

pernacabeluda Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 This started after turning off the nVidia? Maybe you have to turn it on again on shutdown. Try this DSDT.aml.zip You have to edit your DSDT FixMask to disable shutdown fix. -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
JesusInABox Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Hey there, I'm requesting a patched dsdt as I have absolutely no idea how to do it (or what it is, honestly). The only reason I want one is to get my damned audio working with my motherboard. I have OSX 10.9 Mavericks and everything is working perfectly except for onboard audio. My computer is a prebuild, I don't know if that's an issue, but it's the one here. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=c02481315 The motherboard is, I believe, n-Alvorix RS800 micro ATX. Manufactured by Foxconn, with an AMD 785G chipset. I read about the audio card this computer has, the ALC888s, and I've just about had it with my audio not working. Every kext and enabler does absolutely nothing, so I'm hoping this will solve it. Here's the thread I'm talking about: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/285201-alc888-applehdakext-for-moutain-lion-10821083-version/ He mentions is requires a DSDT edit. Attached are the files gathered from running your program, and a copy of my DSDT from DSDT Editor (if you need it) I honestly don't even know if DSDT works for AMD motherboard, but if you can patch it, that would be fantastic! Send me Alex’s Mac Pro.zip AlexMacDsdt.zip

kaljo Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I applied _ps0 and _ps3--> no difference The "tick" I mentioned before is the internal HDD shutting down Clover-->USB-Stick Mavericks-->Ext. HDD Windows-->Int. SSD Linux-->Int. HDD
pernacabeluda Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Did you call _PS3 instead of _OFF in _INI? -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
