Without lapic fix im getting cpu1 kernel panic, when i ignore it, a get still waiting for root devices,

Does it mean that if i use custom dsdt you send i cant use lapic fix, because its fixing cpus=1 problem

And i think when i used dsdt you sent and original mach_kernel and remove NullCpu... I get waiting for root device problem?!

That dsdt is causing problem with still waiting for root device since it seems its not for hp.

Tried patching AICP but after few seconds when i come to desktop happens Kernel panic and pc restarts?!

no dsdt patch for lapic fix

is a hp problem.. hp is not the best machine to do a hack

so u must use always the lapic fix or a modified kernel...

is like the sandy bridge cpu.. must always do the patch in aicpm

he must use always lapic fix..

2 ways .. use kernel patcher if u use chameleon or lapic_kernel

if u use clover is a key.. to the lapic..

never talk about or give info about u don't know.. or u must read to do it..

if u give wrong directions.. never reach u town .. or u reach maybe the ocean

post u full specifications.. update in u profile .. something like i have in bottom ..

hi all

two separate problems with my hardware:

- can't boot with clover uefi (i tried almost everything i could, opened a topic here http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3946 but problem is not fixed so far), stuck at

MAC Framework successfully initialized

using 10485 buffer headers and 7290 clusters IO buffer headers

maybe a dsdt patch would fix it?

- only way i managed to install osx was through u.beast (sorry i know no support here, just to say i got osx running on the laptop), here are the fixes needed

* sleep not working when closing lid

* wake up from sleep not working after hard disks going to sleep (works for display sleep only)

* using a modified graphic kext to have graphics working (it's a HD2000, I get no QE), maybe a dsdt patch would fix it?

* trackpad configuration not accessible natively

* sound not working natively

* keyboard Fn keys not working (no brightness control or whatsoever..)

* battery management not working natively

* USB not properly working (i have to boot in safe mode then reboot to have them working)

i've succeed installing ML 10.8.3 to my laptop (Acer E1 471), but i have a problem with sleep, speedstep, and brightness control.. i don't have DSDT in my Extra folder.. maybe a DSDT can solve my problem?

UPDATE :

now i have fixed sleep problem.. even when i close the lid, it will go to sleep and sure can wake again..

and i use HWmonitor to check my cpu.. and in CPU package multiplier it change from x8 x11 x15 x19 and x23.. if idle, it keep in x8..

does it means i have native power management and speedstep?

btw, i still have a problem with brightness control and HDMI audio

I found a DSDT for HP Pavillon G6 but USB Mouse/Keyboard are not working?!

Any help please?!

I posted infos about my pc and this DSDT, check the "Report.html" file and see infos about pc, and maybe who knows how to patch there should be all infos extracted from windows using AIDA64

sorry artur, you're probably a funny guy but.. as this community aim is i believe to install mac on non-mac hardware and as i'm not a lazy guy and i've spent a lot of time trying to get things work, maybe you should just let me know what's wrong with asking?
