Hello Artur, thanks for your help

All I did for Post-Installation was running multishit to install the dsdt.aml file which I patched.

I downloaded system-info and hit the "check" button. All hardware is shown with a green confirm-symbol except some

intel stuff which is indicated with a smiley ( :D )

Do I have to do something here?

LENOVO EDGE 14

ORIGINAL DSDT - I5-540M

Sometime ago I request a DSDT for LENOVO EDGE 14, you kindly made one that works... I recently update the machine to a i5-540m from a i3-370m and the DSDT stops to work. Here's a new version of my dsdt extracted from Ubunto 12.12 for your consideration. Any help with this please

Target OS: ML 10.8.4

Thanks.

Hello Artur,

unfortunately I can't handle my sleep-mode issue.

I have to say, I found out that restart is also not working.

I already tried the "restart fix" in boot plist, but the problem won't disappear.

I am willing to install LION again, if it would fix my sleep-mode issue (the beeping after wake up, no flashing LEDs during Sleep)

Greetings from Germany

Hi artur-pt,

You have already patched my DSDT but it need to be patched again with a duallink patch because my screen is 1920x1080 (when HD4000 is loaded video only work on HDMI, same with the correct EDID) and I don't know how to do it. I use the id 9, it's the good one I tried all the others and this is the only one who works.

If you can help me it'll be very helpfull.

Big thanks in advance :D

PS: I don't have my computer so I can't attach the file now but the DSDT is in the first reply of this page:

Hi artur - still not quite there yet with my Gateway 7805u PC on 10.8.4. What I think need to do next is recreate my DSDT that you custom patched for my back on page 58 of this thread. I may have given you the wrong .zip file as I had loaded the initial image already onto my laptop and then ran the tool versus what I think is the recommended way of boot just from the USB installer for Intel image. The DSDT definitely was doing something good as I no longer got the shutdown corrupting/changing my BIOS issue and the laptop recognized my firewire port, but it broke USB so that I can't plug in any type of USB mouse or keyboard. So I'd like to try it all over, but maybe I can try patching my original DSDT.bin file taken from my windows 7 instance. Could you please tell me the list of DSDT patches you applied and I'll try to figure out which one breaks my USB functionality using DSDT Editor? Thanks much!!

hello

i always have a problem that i am unable to wake-up from sleep. I have to hard re-boot by pressing the power button.

and when i put My original DSDT extracted by AIDA64 on windows in Extra folder i always have a Kernal Panic " unable to find driver for this platform:\"ACPI\"@/source cache/xnu/xnu-2050.24.15 lokit/kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp.1514" i can reboot only with DSDT=No

I dont know, how to find the bug, where to start or how to trace.. I am completely new to installing osx on pc. I would certainly appreciate any help

thanks a lot

I just got Mountain Lion installed, and the only kexts I've put so far are FakeSMC, NullPowerManagement, Audio, Apple LPC Sandybridge, and LAN. And I've installed Chameleon with Chameleon Wizard. I only used multishit for the SSDT options. After reading up, things just started getting really confusing from the forums. Using the Post Install Guide, I couldn't find my mouse and keyboard in the system info.app, but they both worked fine. So I guess ignore that?

But I need a patched DSDT for my audio is not working. Also I don't know how to tell if my nvidia card kexts are recognized. Don't know how to fix the HD icon either on my desktop. It's different than before, orange.

Also, I'm using a patched BIOS. Unfortunately I applied AICPMpatch because I thought I needed to according to the guide, it didn't say not to if you have a patched BIOS. Don't know how to remove it.
