Here is what I'm running:

- Intel 3570k

- Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z (patched 3603 Bios)

- Asus GTX680

- 8gb G.Skill 1866mhz DDR3

- 1tb WD HDD

- Rosewill Capstone 650w Power Supply

Pretty much this is what I did:

-Used unishit 1.5.3 to create a Mountain Lion 10.8 Usb stick

-Used GraphicsEnabler=No -x -v on USB boot.

-Installed Mountain Lion on HDD and rebooted

-Used GraphicsEnabler=No to boot into ML HDD

-Used multishit 5.3.1 and installed EASYBEAST ONLY

-Rebooted and used GraphicsEnabler=No to boot into ML HDD

-Ran multishit again and used:

a.Drivers > Audio > Without DSDT> ALC889

b.Network > Intel - hnak's Appleintel

c.Boot Options > GraphicsEnabler=No

d.Drivers > Disk > 3rd Party Sata and TRIM Enabler

e.Drivers > Misc. > FakeSMC v5.1.61 Plugins, USB 3.0 Universal

f.Drivers > System > Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement

deleted: ElliotforceLegacyRTC, Ev0reboot.kext, and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

Here is my chameleon boot plist:

update:Installed 10.8.2 with no hickups, reinstalled audio drivers through MB. Also overclocked CPU to 4.5ghz, below are some benches.

my only issue is getting sleep to work. What happens is when I hit sleep under OSX it goes to sleep and seconds later it wakes back up. Upon further investigation this is what is happening in system log:

May 31 08:57:08 localhost kernel[0]: Wake reason: EHC1 XHC EUSB

May 31 08:57:08 localhost kernel[0]: RTC: PowerByCalendarDate setting ignored

May 31 08:57:08 localhost kernel[0]: Previous Sleep Cause: 5

May 31 08:57:08 localhost kernel[0]: The USB device HubDevice (Port 1 of Hub at 0x1d000000) may have caused a wake by issuing a remote wakeup (2)

Tried to compile my own DSDT and placed in in extra/

attached is the DSDT I made, if I used easybeast installation and I want to use DSDT do I just copy the DSDT.aml in /extra and I'll be all set?

Anywho if someone can take a look at my DSDT and compile me a new one with corrections that will help me get sleep to work I'd appreciate.

Thank you! Is there any special instructions for placing the DSDT in /extra/ folder? Do I have to repair disk permissions?

Also I'm a little confused with the last part you said about HDEF (0C) 12? What should I do? I'm sorry I'm a newbie

Patched DSDT request for my Gateway P-7805u laptop, please and thank you!

I tried to run DSDTEditor on it after a fresh Win7 Ultimate 64bit install this morning, but it would just briefly flash up a command window and then disappear...? Might be a JAVA location issue, but I did install the latest version?? Anyway, I installed ACPI64 and pulled the DSDT binary with that app and I'm including that file if it might be of some help.

I just loaded OS X 10.8.3 with the "...USB Installer for Intel PC" bootable USB installer, and so am running OS X right now. That allowed me to run the Send Me app, and create the required document for requesting a patched DSDT in this forum. Someone has this exact PC running on 10.8.3 and created a YouTube video. I contacted him and he responded he would send me the kexts that are needed, but that was days ago :-(

What needs fixing: (I apologize up front - complete Apple noob with only two weekends of trying to get OSX running on this laptop)

- Whenever I restart something is written to my BIOS and then the PC slows to a molasses flow on a winter's morning!! I mean looks like CPU is running at 100MHz and the USB and hard drive and GPU are from the 80's... I HAVE to enter the BIOS, select reset to defaults, save and then reboot and all is good until next OSX reboot.

- Right now on this image (has Clover for boot loader), I have no sound, mic, card reader, or Ethernet card operational. I'm not sure if the web cam, firewire port or HDMI ports work as I haven't tested yet.

If this helps - I did run a recent Clover installer pkg and it installed, but then it wouldn't boot (graphics display was all messed up and I couldn't figure out what options (couldn't see any with the messed up display) to get it working. However, on this USB installer, the graphics work (nVidia 9800M-GTS)...?

Thankyou very much if anyone is able to patch my DSDT. My apologies if I messed anything up with the attached files.

Cheers,

daggerNC

Hi Artur - is this DSDT for me? That quick?? DSDT may not be GOD, but if this works then you're getting pretty close :-)

THANK YOU!

PS. I don't know where us noobs would be without guys like you. Your patience and willingness to constantly help others just amazes me.

Dear Olarila,

Please find attached the SendMe .zip file.

I have been here before, but have had many headaches with my build. Some hardware has changed and ive had to re-install Mountain Lion

Usually its the post installation where it all falls over.

Would appreciate anyone helping me out to patch this DSDT file.

Many Thanks in advance

Keep up the good work ;)

Alright so I used the DSDT you posted, applied my audio patch which is ALC889 and I also had to use the HPET patch so that I don't get a kernal panic. I got sleep to work by using Darkwake=8 or 10 but the thing is my mouse or keyboard doesn't wake the system. I have to press the power. Is there anotehr solution? Or what might be going on?

Hi all, I have an Alienware M17X R4 with those specs :

- i7 3610QM (chipset: HM77)

- Ati 7970m (don't know how to make it work, thought there were some news with 10.8.3 but still... so I sticking with HD4000 that I finally managed to have full qe/ci on laptop's display)

- Intel centrino wireless n 2230

- 12Gb of RAM (1600MHz)

- Creative recond3di (IDT 92HD73C1X5)

I'm on iAtkos ml2 so ML 10.8.2

also for the sound i'm forced to use voodoohda but i've seen there is a patch for applehda, if someone now how to get it, it's here : http://www.tonycrapx86.com/viewtopic.php?p=377384#p377384

I can't get it...

and don't know why but 10.8.3 update caused my keyboard and mouse freezing on login screen so now I stay on 10.8.2
