i think the kp is not related with the dsdt

u have in pic appleacpiplatform and iopcifamily

u are using clover ?

are u smbios proper config ?

try to boot without kernelcache

and read again all the kext in system/library/extensions

u set in clover p and c-states to yes ?

Yes, I use Clover and I set P and C states to yes. If I delete the dsdt the system boots fine with same flags but I have to put back nullcpupowermanagement.kext. If I remove the nullcpu and istall the dsdt I get the KP.

Hello!

My system is M17X R4. This DSDT has only been extracted from my system, no patches/modifications have been applied yet.

I need sleep to work and also i need the system to sleep when the lid is closed if this is possible.

I have a 7970M graphics card and it would be awesome if anyone could get that to work also. I understand that the kext for this graphics card is in the 10.8.3 update, but a tweak needs to be done to the DSDT in order for it to work.

about graphics if only ati is present in u system read the ati guide and apply some procedure, only thing change is ati7000controller the others are the same, if u have into hd from cpu present in u system forget ati only work intel hd...

thank you again for your help. Same kernel panic again. I use clover, I've set in gui to generate P and C states. Clover generates automatically smbios file closest to my cpu. I got macbook 5,2. Which kexts should I remove from S/L/E ?

Anyone out there know of any DSDT patches for my ASUS M4878LT-M? I'm having trouble with Lion 10.7.5, and I'm hoping DSDT might offer a solution. I've never used one before. Here is one I was able to compile with DSDT editor. It showed 0 errors. The problem I'm having is with audio/video sync issues and stuttering. I can't edit in Final Cut Pro because my video is slower than the audio. Really frustrated and tired of Snow Leopard.

i personally don't know any...

+- it works in snow leopard... not perfect

in lion and ml so many problems with legacy_kernel for amd cpu...

is nothing to do with dsdt.. like u say no errors..is u hardware is not compatible..

Hi! I have a Dell Vostro 3750, i5 2430M with Intel HD3000 & nVidia 525m. I can get into Safe Boot but i dont get resolutions and acceleration. I tried for a month now all kinds of solutions i found on the web but none worked. I read that i need to boot with a custom dsdt to disable my Nvidia but i dont know how to do it. I extracted the dsdt using DSDT Editor. If i dont do anything to it and press compile i get 201 errors (Object does not exist, syntax errors, and so on) - and thats just pressing extract and after that compile. If i press Fix im left with 1 error (Syntax error unexpected paseop_arg0) + warnings and optimizations. I dont know what to do. I attached the extracted file (File-Save DSL)

Ok big progress today I manged to boot only with -f flag into ML, with good resolution. The problem now is i dont have QE/CL and HD3000 appears to have 384 mb memory instead of 1 gb. I used Chameleon wizard to change between mbp 8.1 and 8.3, nothing changed. I checked in terminal with command kextstat and i see at line 66: com.apple.driver.AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB (7.1.8) <65 10 9 7 6 5 4 3 1> (wich i understand means graphics kext is loaded). Whats the next step now to get full acceleration/memory?

I hope i dont bother you too much, you already did so much by helping me boot full rez. and i thank you very much for this.

what is that intelhd3000 with 1 gb ?

the 3000 don't have ram it stole from u ram

make a kextstat in terminal

and post in pastebin.com and write here the link

must be loaded also the intelhd3000.kext

and use macbookpro8,1

and run disk util and repair permissions on the volume where is mac os x

and boot again

-f -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes

Lion and ML don't use Extra/Extension...

all kext in system/library/extensions

to use kernel cache..

and u use a Extra/module/Kernelpatcher.lyb ??? for what ??? u have lapic problems ???

man must read about mac os x... mac os x is for mac

hack mac os x is 99 % of reading, googling, persistency to know what are doing..and 1 % of luck u hardware be compatible...

and now u have power management native but u don't apply nothing from the links i gave to u..
