DSDT patch requests

Dear Friends,

The following is my hardware:

HP Probook 4320t Notebook

Intel Celeron Processor P4500 “Arrandale” (1.86 GHz, 2 MB L3 cache)

Intel HM57 Chipset

Intel GMA HD Graphics "Ironlake"

1366x768 32-bit @59 Hz Display

Audio - I have sound with VoodooHDA, but I cannot control audio level and I cannot mute

Sleep - doesn't seem to work at all

Display Brightness - can't adjust at all

Power Management seems to be an issue as well. I get very poor battery performance. I have deleted NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and installed FakeSMC 4.3.25 with Hardware Monitor app. i have also installed a hacked AppleACPIPlatform.kext and VoodooBattery as well as SleepEnabler.kext. HWMonitor shows CPU temps and "CPU Package" consistently at around 900 MHz. Battery % monitoring works. As stated above, sleep doesn't seem to work.

I am also attempting to get CI/QC working for my graphics card based on the promising but *very* recent work being done here for Intel HD graphics. It is suggested that the DSDT should not have a DSM method in the GFX0 (or VID) section. I have native resolution and few glitches at the moment, so the computer is useable, but the lack of hardware acceleration makes some UI features slow. Overall, though, CI/QC is not a priority.

Any help would be appreciated.

Didn't you say the KP was solved by removing AppleHDA?

Removing AppleHDA does remove the kernel panic.

I only patched EHCI for sleep.

first of all, I want to thank you for this site

you can find attached the "send me" file.

i am using a Toshiba Satellite A200-14E and i have some issues:

1) CPU's fan doesn't work - this is very very important for me - it stops after boot every time (work fine in windows xp,7,8)

2) sound doesn't work. I tried voodooHDA.kext (021 - sound ok, but no microphone, 261 doesn't boot, 272 boot but when I boot, it took a very long time and the sound start with a very high level - very loud)

3) wifi doesn't work, i can't find any kext for it - maybe, you guys, can help me

4) sleep - does not work

i need some help, please. i am struggling resolve these issues for 2 weeks now, and it's starting to become frustrating. please, tell me if you need any additional information.

where u get it ?

is injected alc889 for applehda....

ask there what patched are applied and how to resolve that problems

about u wifi if the card is not compatible.. use a usb pen or change the card, for one compatible

I didn't know that my DSDT is already patched. I install an original mac os x 10.6.3 and I updated direct to 10.6.8 through software update. I use the boot that is too big to be attached (EP45UD3P Snow Leopard) -from the installer mac os x and after install I injected de software directly to main mac os x partition to boot direct from hard

regarding the sound - do I have to install ALC889a from multishit? I found also a post - install an older AppleHDA.Kext from 10.6.2 - I don't know if work and I'm afraid that mess up my install mac and I have to reinstall everything from the begining

What can I do to make my fan's CPU work? can you guide me please?

about sound what is injected by the dsdt u have is applehda 889a

i don't know if is u alc...????

mac don't use alc , so must always use applehda patched for alc

about fan ?? what is u cpu temps ?

mac os x don't use like windows hd access, so only if u have high temps the fan will work...

that is a hardware thing, resolved by applecpupowermanagement...

use smc monitor to see u temps or hwmonitor, must use fakesmc + intelcpumonitor plugin of fakesmc

Hi!

I really need someone to patch my dsdt, you see i dont know how to do it myself.

for now I need the folowing:

Sound: Alc272

Graphics: I am having this strange problem, the Graphics work just fine in safemode, but not when i boot with Graphicsenabler=off, and not normally, with no bootflag it will just freeze.

I am also having a problem updating comboupdates, i get a kernel panic.

If someone could help me that would be awsome!

I used the DSDT you provided but i'm still unable to mute the audio or adjust the levels. I can use the keyboard function key to attempt to mute audio, and it displays the line through the speaker symbol on screen, but it still plays audio at 100%. Adjusting the audio with the slider in the OS X menubar has no effect on anything.

To what extent must I have graphics working in order to get sleep to work? I now have CI enabled, but I've yet to get QE.

My 10.6.8 is now able to sleep by clicking Sleep option and by closing the lid as well. It's like I have been dreaming now as it's been for months to get this to happen.

Opening the lid is actually not waking up my Snow Leopard. To wake it up I just press any keys. This is a little thing and does not disturb me but if you could help me to make it happen again, it would be perfect.

I've try install ML with MyHack and with iAtkos but i've these problems:

Fn keys don't work

Wireless card (atheros ar9485) and card reader (realtek) are recognized but i can't find right kext

Sleep works but i can't resume the system

Hi, I've installed ML 10.8.3 successfully, one issue for me is wake from sleep, sleep works but when I'm trying to login I can't write password.

System log show: " The USB device HubDevice (Port 1 of Hub at 0x1a000000) may have caused a wake by issuing a remote wakeup (2)".

I must fix my DSDT? (I applied all patches for my TK85).

Hi,

I need to patch this dsdt.aml i've extracted it trought aida64.

I need native wifi (cause WiFi Atheros AR9285 kext works but it shows the wifi card as an ethernet and i can't see the real ethernet card on the laptop), audio (voodoohda works but i prefer to not install kext if possibile), battery (it doesn't show me the battery indicator) brightness control (it doesn't work) and sleep functionality.

If you want and If you can, please add others hardware compatibility to that file.
