Hi Maldonado

I got a minipc with 10th gen intel i5-10210U with iGPU working with framebuffer patch.

But it's impossible for me to make audio works. No HDMI audio, no codecs shown on Hackintool app, and no audio throw USB. I've tried everything in the last two months, and you are my last chance. I've changed bootloader to yours and simply patched iGPU. With opencore guide I maped succesfully usb ports. If you could help me... The intel id is 8086:02c8 and surfering the web there are many sites saying it's impossible to make audio works (even on Linux).

I've try also patching AppleALC with the Controllers patches, with the one to patch my id: 400 series PCH-LP HD Audio in the kernel-patch args of config.plist, adding 0x1F,0x3 with device-id 749D0000 and layout-id 01000000 (and the respectively alcid=1, 2, etc...) with no success.

Even tried adding old kexts Fakepciid and Fakepciid_intel_hdmi, which gave me sound in hdmi but the system began to freeze and reboot randomly.

Thanks

Hello @MaLd0n,

I'm back in the community after some time. I've installed macOS Sequoia 15.3.1 on a new machine and would like to request a DSDT patch if possible. Additionally, I'm planning to set up a dual boot with Windows 11.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Hi, my MoBo is a MSI z690i, pc 12900k gpu: Radeon 6900xt. I would like to have audio, wi-fi, ethernet, bluetooth and thunderbolt running, every time the machine shuts downs it restarts again and when turned on it says: your computer restarted because of a problem. if you can optimize any other thing (wether p or e cores or whichever you might find useful for performance please include it) I tried to upload the .zip file here but it compiled 32mb. I uploaded to one google drive here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GuRc7XYW-hfCrCLDU9KTLU0t0bNotEKg/view?usp=sharing

Thank you for the DSDT patch service:

Please note that the Skylake laptop MaLdOn.aml was causing a KP so I removed it from the patched directory for Clover 5162.

Here is a synopsis of issues occurring with Tahoe:

problem 1, method [ESDT] boot error:

ACPI Error:No handler for region [RCM0] [SYSTEM CMOS] (20160930/evregion-252)
ACPI Error:Region SystemCMOS (ID-5) has no handler (20160930/elfido-392)

ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_PCIO_LPCB_ECO_Q42 AE_NOT_EXIST (20160930/preparse-632)

problem 2,  trackpad/keyboard not working at Tahoe login:

VoodooPS2controller with VoodooRMI/VoodooInput and VoodooSMBus working in Sonoma/Sequoia for trackpad/keyboard but trackpad/keyboard not enabled at login for Tahoe.  Necessary to plug in usb mouse and keyboard.

problem 3,   Tahoe betas 1 through 3 KP when failing to load spoofed Skylake/Kabylake graphics.  Disabling AAPL-platform-id enables boot to desktop but no graphics acceleration.   Skylake/Kabylake graphics spoof working fine in Sonoma/Sequoia.  It appears Tahoe is probing graphics and finding Intel Skylake device (0x19168086) and refusing to map Kabylake drivers resulting in KP..

problem 4, IconServiceAgent is causing high CPU usage even though I have attempted to follow the information online to revert custom icons to standard system icons.  Do you have any pointers on how to resolve the high CPU usage?

Thanks to Slice for the disable Vt-d for Tahoe but this virtualization was already disabled in BIOS.

I had to remove all of the kexts from the "Send me" as it was over 100 MB before their removal. I have been using both FakeSMC and VirtualSMC with both Clover 5162 and Open Core 105 but encountering the same KP when attempting to load Kabylake graphics.  I can boot to a non graphics accelerated desktop with both Clover/FakeSMC and Open Core/VirtualSMC by disabling the AAPL-platform-id Skylake/Kabylake graphics spoof.

I don't know how much of this can be resolved with DSDL and/or associated specific .aml config files, but I certainly thank you for your expertise in resolving as many of these issue as can be resolved with DSDT/.amls.

Thank you.

It's a pity I don't know how to make Skylake GPU working in Tahoe. I switched off it in BIOS since Ventura and use AMD Polaris only.

The reason is Skylake GPU in the desktop didn't wake after sleep causing many problem for me. May be mobile GPU is better but I see you also have problems.

1. i5-13400, MSI PRO B760M-P DDR4, BIOS 1E, MSI RX570, ALC897 (VoodooHDA), Tahoe 26.2, Sequoia 15.7.3, ArchLinux, Clover 5167

2. ASUS X200CA, Pentium 2117U, 4GB, HD2500 (Software OpenGL), Mojave 10.14.6, ArchLinux , Clover5162

3. Huananzhi X79M-PRO, Xeon E5-2650v2, RX570, ALC887, RTL8111F, macOS 12.6, 10.14.6, Win10, multiboot by Clover 5150

4. GA 965P-S1, E6300 Conroe, Radeon HD5570, ALC888, OS⌘ 10.11.6 (15G22010), Clover 4928. Still working.

Hi,

I've found one of your patched EFI on Git and at least it made me install Sonoma on my new hardware. But it doesn't work well, so I'm not able to get the Ethernet or Wifi working, here are some details about my system:

CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 265k
GPU: Saphire Radeon RX6950XT Nitro+
Wifi & Bluetooth: Apple native card connected via M.2 Adapter and internal USB
Mainboard: MSI PRO Z890-s Wifi PZ

I'm looking forward to your help @MaLd0n

...and sorry, but I needed to delete my OC folder from the ZIP because it was to big 7,3MB.

Hopefully it will work for you, otherwise I'll send you the whole Zip via Wetransfer or something else.

Best regards.

The EFI posted to Olarila was for a Skylake laptop i5 and 520 graphics/intel wifi and realtek ethernet.  If you are attempting a Sonoma install on desktop hardware I doubt my EFI would be of much help.

Thank you for the reply.

Hi, I’ve already contracted MaLd0n and he tailored me a working EFI for my hardware, but thx for replying on my post.

Hello,

I'm Aware of the Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Pro Ice thread, however the posted DSDT doesn't work for me. With the current Opencore EFI i have made the system will have a "darkwake" the second time the system goes to sleep and wakes up. I'm on the latest bios F17f and posted my 'Send me" files. NootRX has been removed due to size issues along with IntelBT kexts.

I will donate to you if you solve my issue.

thank you.
