DSDT patch requests

I look everywhere to patch my dsdt. I did everything I could.

But I can not deactivate my gtx 635m. Please help me, I am forced to use windows as my ultrabook with osx is too hot.

Everything works great except my gtx 635m very hot, I'm sad to delete osx for it

trying to get ALC269 (have working with modified AppleHDA kext, if thats all thats needed, forget this one) and HDMI audio working on my acer v3 571 6882 with my dsdt ive created I always get a hda-gfx error on boot So clearly i'm doing something wrong

editted because i was running a DSDT that i tried to make and it added a bunch of things clearly in the wrong place, new "send me" uploaded Send me .zip

The available USB HUBs are detected as AppleUSBUHCI and this seems to mess with my iLok.

I have tried some basic fixes (Force EHCI and USBFIX in org.Boot.plist ) but it did not help.

Would be great to try a DSDT "taylored" on my MOBO.

hi everybody

I've got an alienware m17x r4

chipset : intel hm 77

integrated graphics : intel hd 4000

gpu : amd hd7970m

cpu : i7 3630qm (ivy bridge)

i'm on mountain lion 10.8.2

What works : intel hd 4000 but only when i'm plugged in with an hdmi otherwise my integrated screen remains black

the sound works but i can't adjust the volume

the wifi doesn't work (i have an intel centrino N2230)

the sound via hdmi doesn't work aswell

amd hd 7970m doesn't work

usb 3.0 doest work but i can get the usb works by disabling the xhci in the bios.

Could anybody help me and i dont have a dsdt file in my osx,

the wireless don't work is not supported by apple

the amd card don't work

for the hd 4000 must find u platform id..

and inject it by efi string or dsdt..

must use ssdt and appleintelcpupowermanagement patched

Edited DSDT with Shutdown.

Removed nullAICPM and pached AICPM start without issues

I'd like to patch Sleep and Speed Step also Realtek audio and Sd Card

My Specs are:

HP dv5t 1000

Mac OS X 10.8.2

problems:

CPU:

detected: Dual-Core Intel Xeon @ 2.8 GHz

in reality: Core 2 Duo P8600 @ 2.40GHz

Ethernet:

not detected: Realtek RTL8168

Audio:

not detected: in Win it is written as IDT / in Linux as HDA Intel (STAC92xx)

Card reader:

not detected: JMicron Card Reader JMB38X (although it comes with 1394a OCHI controller and FireWire 400 is correctly detected)

Well, I did:

1) deleted /Extra/nullcpupowermanagement.kext

2) added dsdt.aml to /Extra (from boot log I can see that it is loaded)

3) added to /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist

The only one change is that now Intel HDA is detected in system information, but in Settings->Sound is still written no devices. Still wrong CPU (actually in boot log it is written correctly), no Ethernet, no Card reader, no actual sound.

I would appreciate any further help

probably u don't use the right smbios for u hack

well my dsdt not my processor identifies the P000.P001 is, P002, P003 instead of CPU000, CPU001, CPU002, CPU003 .. and I think that's why it is heated much my laptop ..

Thanks, editing smbios.plist helped me to correct CPU type.

But can you help me a bit DSDT - which patches have you applied? I tryed to patch by myself with DSDT Editor applying all patches from Notebook Core 2 ICH9 folder however I am getting 184 errors which I am unable to fix because of ArrayOutOfBound exception. And even without applying a patch newly extracted DSDT has 7 errors. Maybe I am doing something wrong. because when I tried to extract and compile your DSDT it compiled without errors.

that's the problem in the part where this PR Scope nothing regarding CPU ..: (and not as add edit .. oh ... for my processor ...
