Dell Latitude 3400 i5 8265U - Intel UHD620 - 16gb RAM - 256m2 ssd (MacOS 14.2.1)

installed, booted with the proper efi from here for whiskey lake, ran the app.

 

WORKING WITH PROVIDED EFI:

video qe/ci

audio all ports, internal speakers and mic.

all usb ports, including usb-c port. (used an airbud usb-c from apple and works mic and audio)

trackpad all gestures

kb sound changes work on F keys and brightness change using fn+ f11 & f12

battery seems to be working properly with percentage and asking for maintance since its on EOL.

wifi/bt working with intel 3165

 

PROBLEMS

cpu not recognized (with mbp 15,2 shows core i7) Not sure if PM/Speedstep etc is working properly

sleep reboots the machine

brightness is behaving strange. Doesnt go full black when all low and the screen is very dark until its almost max.

Hi, 

I'm not able to post my runme file because it's just over 3mb. Is there somewhere else to post it? Maybe I can zip the 2 folders it has separately?

I used the EFI.Opencore.Desktop.Haswell.Broadwell.zip. and installed Mojave 10.14.6.

I have an Intel Core i7-4770K Quad-Core Desktop Processor (3.5 GHz, 8 MB Cache, Intel HD graphics, BX80646I74770K) and my motherboard is a GA-Z87X-UD5H, 32GB RAM, using built in graphics and built in Ethernet.

Samsung 1TB EVO SSD

Built in HDMI/Ethernet are working, and USB ports seem to work, but occasionally the Apple USB keyboard freezes until I reboot.

Not sure if there are other settings/config .plist changes, etc. I need to make or can make at this point?

I really only use the machine for Pro Tools HD. Not sure how to get the bootlogs etc to post from OpenCore for you to see if there are errors etc. but would be great if you can help, just to make sure I have everything correct.

Me too. Looks like my 13Gen Raptor Lake i5-13000K  (Gigabyte Z790 UD, DDR5) not working at full speed (macOS 14 Sonoma). 
Low Geekbench 6 CPU benchmarks compared with other users results and my Ubuntu, Win10 results.

Any help with correct processor setup?

Tnx. Already use it but with MacPro7,1 (think better with Polaris, and looking to your "Beast" too  )
And results not so good compared with other users with the same i5-13600K and macOS (my results - first line)

 (think need correct CPU cores description - not 20 Cores but 14 or 6 and may be Hyper Thread patch) 
But how?

MacPro7 u need fix power management. U can use CpuFriend for that.

iMacPro1 we don't need fix power management.

Under macos ur i5 go to 15k geekbench, my i9 is 19k.

Remember im using full default settings just set my XMP profile.

If u have memory 7200mhz for example geekbench result is high instead.

As I see CpuFriend don't have Raptor Lake CPU profiles.. So don`t understand how I can use it for 13600 exactly.
Looks like my DDR5 XMP profile active at 6000 mhz, so memory - not the problem for low scores. It must be near Win and Ubuntu scores.

Use it with macpro7,1 smbios Arquivo Comprimido.zip

my mac score is 19k, windows socre is 22k

Full native support with P and E cores don't exist under macos adn we need to use kernel quirk for that

Hi, I tried multiple times fixing the battery, keyboard (touchpad works) and the monitor blacklight. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Specs: Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500H

GPU: Nvidia RTX 3050(not supported), it works via the iGPU

WiFi Card: Intel one, not very sure which one, but needed swap as is originally had a MediaTek one(not supported for mac)

P.S: I do know that AMD Laptops are not supported, but somehow i made it working, only these flaws remaining. If anyone needs this efi, it s free to use.

Can you please check this out, i have hackintosh (Sonoma 14.3) booted normally with iGPU support,  but two issues i have:

1- if the computer went to sleep i am not able to wake it up i have to hard reset, but if i put it in sleep it works normally.

2- after working for some time the computer start to slow a bit however there are no process consuming the CPU/GPU or the rams.

i tried to patch it with SSDTTimer but with no luck even i tried to Patch with Iasl but there are some error during patching 

PC Specs:

Thinkpad T14 Gen 1

CPU: 10510U

Installed Monterey 12.6.2 via installation USB which I made on one of my other hackintoshes (i3 10100-RX580 8GB running Catalina 10.15.7), with Monterey image I downloaded from Apple, using Clover EFI default folder from Olarila.

Specs: 

M/B: Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Master

CPU: Intel i9 12900K

GPU: Sapphire RX 6900 XT 16GB Toxic Extreme Edition (vendor id 0x37af, not the usual 0x73bf)

Memory: Teamgroup T-Force Delta 2X16GB DDR5 @ 6400MHz (XMP 40-40-40-76 recognised)

NVME1: Patriot Viper VP4300 lite 2TB containing Windows 11, installed before Monterey and loading without problems with Olarila clover boot loader 

NVME2: WD Black SN850 500GB containing Monterey

Installation went smoothly. USB seems to be working, sound (ALC 1220) is heard through the speakers of my Gigabyte M28U monitor through DisplayPort.

Issues:

1. GPU is recognised as "AMD Radeon Navi21 16GB". I don't think that hardware acceleration works. Unfortunately the vendor ID is not the 0x73bf supported OOB for rx 6900 xt, but the 0x73af which I tried to spoof in clover devices without success. Both monitors (GA M28U and Samsung U28E590) work in their native 4k resolution but at low frame rates. They only work at their highest frame rates (144 and 60Hz accordingly) in 2560X1440 resolution.

2. CPU is recognised as "Processor 3,19 GHz unknown", although all 24 logical cores are reported to work (but no hyper threading is reported).

2. Ethernet is not recognised (Aquantia Marvel AQtion 10G), even with the "force Aquantia" quirk in clover.

3. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are reported but do not work (Intel AX210 160MHz 6E 802.11ax 2T2R & BT 5).

4. Sleep doesn't work.

5. Continuity and hand-off are out of the question without Wi-Fi and BT.

 Any help would be greatly appreciated. The system is still quite powerful today, and I would love to see what MacOS can do with it.

Hello, I could install MacOs Ventura on my Laptop, but I got some errors, the audio driver isn't working, also I think I don't have the audio acceleration, the H.264 is not activated, the dock transparency isn't working, minimization is going with lag, is there any solution? I hope you can help me.
