DSDT patch requests

I used the dortania guide as it seemed easy and olarila decides to give me kernel panics when I use the Broadwell chipset OC folder.

I am using OpenCore 0.5.9 on my HP notebook 14 am036na

I am having the following problems.

1. System restarts if put to sleep.

2. Hangs if shutdown.

3. I have confirmed that I have ALC282 from linux but none of the layout IDs work. So I used VoodooHDA. If possible I would like that to be fixed too.

4. The battery indicator is not working. (I have placed the ACPIBatteryManager.kext in OC/Kexts and updated the config.plist)

5. Brightness control works as it was in the guide provided by dortania(Github). Although I really doubt it will work if I remove the ssdts.

6. Also not a requirement but it will be useful to fix the volume control keys.

 I tried to fix the battery indicator from the patch provided but it seems all of my EC fields are defined as buffer fields (or that is what I gathered at least) so I am lost.

hello, here is the new send me file, with the modifications asked.

My problems are:

- No audio;

- No wifi (but I have an usb that works);

- No Screen brightness control in system preferences;

- Do not know if it is possible remap function keys (brightness,  volume control, command is on ALT, etc, but it is not mandatory).

Hi!

I got it to install on an ASUS VivoBook X510U-BQ167T, but I can't get the video card (Intel HD 620) to work properly, everything runs a little slow. And the wifi does not work too. I'm booting through pen drive, because I couldn't use the config2.plist on Clover. Any help would be appreciated.

Got Mojave running with the vanilla tutorial but macOS keeps restating when using the olarila clover folder.

Lenovo ideapad 330 15ICH

• Processor Intel Core i7-8750H  2.2GHz up to 4.1GHz

Managed to get ethernet working but still missing sound and HDMI. Maybe you can help me with this and the DSDT

Hi MaLd0n!!

please help me to patch my DSDT for this laptop Dell Vostro 3590,

Tried to install Catalina with OC and Clover but I'm stuck at +, and whet other drivers it won,t boot just says image boot.efi can't be loaded.

A made a OC folder with OC Gen-X for Big Sur according to Dortania, it bots fine, but at the beginning of installer its just a grey screen, I can move my mouse, but noting happen it stops there. Maybe it's because of Amd graphics or not good graphics Framebuffer injected. So I was unable to install  macOS.

According to Intel website my graphics on this processor it shed be:      

Device ID
0x9B41/0x9BCC     8086:9B41 => i5-10210U + i7-10510U 4C/8T (Mobile UHD 620)

Maybe with a fine-tune DSDT SSDT, it well boot the installer.

I will really appreciate if you could help me,  Thank you!

Hi Bro.. I have follow your site quite long now. Very good job bro. I need help with my build. I cant enable nvidia GT 630 on my skylake system. However intel gpu working perfectly.

I use Asus H110M-K board. On uefi, i need to choose cpu gpu as main display connector, cannot select to pcie gpu, if not display will go dark after loading.

Please help with DSDT fine tuning. I uploaded the runme zip file Send me bryans-iMac.zip

I can't attach it here as it's too big.

Also when running the runme app IOReg wanted to write to my OSX root and that failed. There was no way or time to change the save directory.

Ok ... I deleted the ioregGeneric.txt form the Send me
