[Succes] HID Touchpad not working

Recommended Posts

@MaLd0n I think I have found a possible solution, when I extracted the DSDT, I did it with the trackpad in basic mode in the bios (it works like a normal mouse without gestures). I don't know if that matters but I am attaching the original dsdt in case you could patch it again for the battery, brightness and touchpad, since I have tried to patch it but I can't boot macOS.

Extracted DSDT.aml:

@MaLd0n after 5 months trying it, it works, thanks a million mald0n, but I had to replace voodooi2c elan with voodooi2c hid, I don't know why but it turns out that my trackpad is HID. Thanks again, gestures are working fine.

My laptop is now a perfect dualboot of macOS Catalina and Windows 10 thanks to you, you are the best person I have talked to in a forum.
