hello, I had this same error, they talked about resetting the nvram and I didn't even know, .. do the following the opencore boot screen will show your hds or ssds, and there will be reset nvram on it and enter ready.

vc pode usar aquele seu com a mesma pasta efi e somente atualizar o necessário pro big sur

@MaLd0n sigo sem conseguir. Durante a instalação,quando chega na faixa de 2-3 minutos restantes,subitamente desliga,mas antes dando um erro "exc_corpse_notify". já tentei com o efi folder do coffee lake e não deu certo. uso um i3-9100f com uma gt710 . Sabe o que poderia ser?

I'm using premade EFI folder on my Z390 Aorus Master (i7 9700K)  to install macOS 10.16 on my external hard drive. I can't boot fine the USB Installer. On second stage, Big Sur Beta stuck at "less than a minute remaining" since two hours.

Any ideas! Please

tentei subir com uma 710 e não rolou na install, mas no hd funcionou normal. usei a integrada pra instalar

the folder work good for many coffeelake desktop. i tested in many.

but if don't work idk what happens

I have the exact same problem with my coffee lake build using an external hard drive.

I know that your EFI folder is working. Maybe it is the fact that I want to install Big Sur on an external drive connected to a USB3 port, the reason of this issue. ?

@MaLd0nchegou a dar esse mesmo erro? aparentemente funciona,mas dá esse erro exc_corpse_notify durante a primeira parte da instalação. vou tentar com alguma gpu velha pra ver se vai

Okay, vou comparar aqui, compilar os kexts e testar. 

Muito obrigado pelo suporte, até para um sistema que nem é o de uso diário, ainda em beta.

Blz, aparentemente está tudo ok.
Adicionei o alcid=1 para ter o som da placa mãe nas configs e foi.

Só tenho uma dúvida, vejo que muita gente tem falando para não usar o WhateverGreen.kext e uma outra flag na boot string porque elas ficaram desnecessárias. Acho que são as: -lilubetaall e vsmcgen=1, isso confere?

A minha está assim: -v -lilubetaall keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 vsmcgen=1 alcid=1

E as KEXTs atualizadas pelo comando de recompilar tem duas que são mais antigas eu acho que estão na pasta PREMADE, e mantive elas a USBInjectAll.kext e a XHCI-unsupported.kext. Como você montou a pasta premade num config parecido com o meu, devem ser necessárias.

I spent three days looking for the cause of my EFI not booting. 
From your EFI I was able to discover that my EFI didn't work due to an few day Kext build.
I was able to create an EFI specialized for the Intel 300 series (ASUS PRIME H370-A). 

Big Sur USB installer (USB installer without VM)

I enjoyed the joy of the free efforts of hackers around the world.
