Olarila Big Sur Beta 6 Vanilla Image / USB Installation

consegui chegar no instalador, ai reiniciei pra instalar, ai apareceu que ia demorar 30 minutos, ai quando chegou em 9 minutos reiniciou de novo, mas agora da esse erro na hora de dar boot no hd que escolhi pra instalar

Hello Maldon 

Like many others i have tried everything to get this up and running with no luck at all 

stuck in the same loop as here

I have succesfully installed big sur using the cloning method here is what i have tried so far :

From the Working Efi updated all kexts and then just added vsmcgen=1 per your suggestion above. Same loop 

From the provided Efi tried booting the installer first regularly and then removed booter-fileset-kernel and booter-fileset-basesystem

What else can i try ?

Maybe I can help for the first time here  It is pretty easy just follow this guide https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Desktop-Guide/extras/gui.html

I did it for you anyways just for fun. Make sure you have the newest OpenCore version and it should be good! (No Chime though, not sure if you have audio working or not) https://easyupload.io/yc3rj7

Thanks, NVM fixed that already! And I didnt follow that guide to fix it, I figured out some stuffs were wrong at config But I will try chime definitely!

It will be a silly question, but the Olarila Big Sur image now is a Bootable USB one?

Then, After install I use the pre-made EFI folder for my Coffee Lake setup?

Do we need to use your image of BigSur to make this work or would the beta download work?

I used my own beta download of bigsur and used debug of opencore and kernel extensions

stuck and re boots to country selection seems to fail on trying to config my lan and that it needs an internet connection for some reason

Ola Maldon estou fazendo o USB install para a mobo Asus x79pro e usando a pasta EFI OC pra dar o boot e tenho esta mensagem de erro quando vou dar o boot pelo pendrive.

OCS: No schema for BlacklistAppleUdate at 3 index, context <Security>!

image is just a easy way for people without macos installed

but is same vanilla from apple servers created by createmediainstall

Yeah I booted and everything works charm, however I have followed dortania s guide to enable chime, its not working, have resources too, here is my config.plist. not important but if you do check it I will be grateful

Sir I did copy resources from there and did changes to config too, copied audiodxe.efi too, but if you can check plist that its on right order or not, that would be nice

Segui o tutorial e ainda continuo tendo do mesmo erro, não aparece a tela de boot do opencore.

Você é o cara mano... Olhando aqui seu tutorial do OPEN-CORE conseguir fazer.
Agora baixei a ISO do macOS Big Sur que você disponibilizou , Fiz o pen-drive bootável . Peguei a Pasta EFI que você deixou lá, como minha PLACA-MÃE é uma GigaByte Z390 M Gaming , Incluvise meu SETUP é igual o seu brother. Quando aperto F12 para da o boot pelo PEN-DRIVE fica nessa parte não sobe para lugar nenhum. Deixei mais de 2 horas e nada, fica só nessa ai.



TEM COMO ME AJUDAR, Quero muito instalar esse BIG SUR.
OBS: Já compilei os últimos kexts do opencore e seguir o procedimento, E também olhei na PASTA EFI usando o XCODE ele já está habilitado o VSMCGEN = 1

Hola MaLd0n, ¿puedes darme un poco de ayuda por favor? Al usar la serie de instaladores prefabricados de USB EFI 100/200/300/400, se produce un pánico en el núcleo de la foto. Instale big sur a través de la imagen prefabricada. Tengo la efectividad y la función correspondientes, pero por ahora trato de usar la eficiencia prefabricada para una instalación limpia que no he podido avanzar.
Te enviaré mi foto con una foto de kernel de pánico. Gracias de un viejo amigo por tu gran trabajo.

mi computadora es una dell optiplex 7040 sff skylake 6700, 32 ram ssd pciex 256gb que funciona bien con catalina.
