Hi MaLd0n

My System:

msi 990fxa-gd65. | AMD FX 8150 | 12GB RAM | Gigabyte RX 560 4Gb

I successfully Installed Big Sur using VMware. Booted with these EfI ( tried with both FAKEsmc and VirtualSMC)

I want to try USB Installer (olarilla iso Big sur dp3).

But its not booting at all. I can use this efi to boot both Usb Installer catalina and Installed catalina disk.

Getting this error

Hello iamprabhuantony,

how did you install BigSur in VMware?

Do you have a Description or instructions, maybe a Link?

My System:

AMD FX 6300, MSI GT 710, ASRock 980DE3/U3s3, 16 GB RAM

Greetings from Germany, maclinux

A few things with this EFI that I have noticed that should not be there at all.

<key>booter-fileset-basesystem</key>
<data>AA==</data>
<key>booter-fileset-kernel</key>
<data>AA==</data>

These were only needed with OC 0.5.8 because OC could not patch the kc.collections and had to revert back to patching prelinked kernel, with 0.5.9 this has been fixed and no longer need those in the config at all.

The Datahub and PlatformNVRAM sections in the config are not even used with Automatic PlatformInfo is enabled.

Booter > Quirks > EnableWriteUnprotector should not be enabled.

The ACPI > Patch > Olarila Fix Boot Stuck is not needed at all.

ACPI > Quirks > RebaseRegions should not be enabled.

If you are going to provide a pre-made EFI, you should keep it updated with the latest kernel patches and settings that are based off https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/AMD/zen.html just my opinion.
