Did developer beta 6 changed something? I have been running an Haswell machine ( hp elitedesk g1 ,which EFI I got from here) perfectly. I have been updating from beta to beta through the system updater, no problem what so ever. With beta 6 it broke my Igpu. No acceleration and only get 7MB of Vram. Was working just fine on all previous betas... Help please.

Hello!! WHo knows how to disable csrutil authenticated-root in BiG Sur beta 4 ?? ( to disable completely SIP in Big Sur beta 4)
my spec: bootargs ! csr-..... 67000000 DATA
Should I write. FF0F0000. or FF070000 or other value for SIP completely disable ?
I did , in the terminal of BS beta 4 installer :
csrutil authenticated-root disable
I reboot ..
and , in terminal :
Last login: Tue Aug 18 20:34:19 on console
~ % csrutil authenticated-root status
Authenticated Root status: enabled
~ % csrutil status
System Integrity Protection status: disabled.
THANKS !!!

very simple : (boot to your USB installer for your beta 4 then: when you are on the first windows : language : click english or other .. then second window : you have , in the menu bar Terminal : click  write :  csrutil authenticated-root disable..... so you did it : But)  you have , I think , two solutions: first is to leave blank your bootarg csr-active-config  in your config plist (after doing in the installer terminal : csruitl disable ; csrutil athenticated-root disable) , or write 67080000....

try also 77080000 (which works for me)   in textmate:

                <key>csr-active-config</key>
                <data>dwgAAA==</data>

I think we have the same issue.

Opencore boots fine, I managed to install until 12/13 minutes remaining, after that tries to boot, but crashes.

Then manual rebooting opencore loads fine there's a option for bigsur macos install select this and at the phase that the apple logo is already up the screen it crashes and can't even see the errors, because it's too quickly something with "sigakill: shutdown...!!!.

Been this week trying to figure this thing out, but no show!

Any clues?

EDIT: Since I can't make any usb to boot in my system, i booted from empty internal ssd, only with EFI populated, after that i use the usb  to make the installation to the internal SSD. Could this be the issue?

HP XW6600, 2xXeonE5430, 16 GB, 256GB SSD, Nvidia 710GT.

EDIT2: I was able to get a picture of the final verbose, just before the screen become black. Can anyone make something of this, it's not very clear.

ok i tried with your config plist but i am now stuck on exitdbslog again

when i use my plist it restarts after booting with the error i posted earlier.

this new plist has more options than mine so maybe its better.

maybe you can take a look at it to see if i went wrong somewhere. hopefully this is solved and i can play with big sur

EDIT: reinstalled and now its working fine. didnt do anything different but maybe a file was left out. kind of slow though, is it because of the nvme drive? even the sound is laggy
