JaoM Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 (edited) How can i rename the test-partion and why it is not possible to boot into recovery-mode? EDIT: Also verbose-mode doesn't work for me. Edited July 4, 2020 by JaoM

JaoM Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 (edited) Ok...renaming the "Test" called partition works in terminal with diskutil. In this example, i've renamed from "Test" to "macOS Big Sur" with the following command: sudo diskutil rename "Test" "macOS Big Sur" I now still need a solution for the recovery- and verbose-mode. EDIT: Renaming does not really work - need further access to recovery partition for this Edited July 4, 2020 by JaoM 1

JaoM Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Thank you, the problem with the verbose occurs everytime after i've booted from an other EFI - so before booting the EFI for Big Sur, i must always do the nvram reset again. Do you know, what the problem with booting into recovery-mode could be? This still doesn't work.
