rocky_mtn Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Can someone else PLEASE host/upload this .dmg file? I tried "adding" it to my google drive account and it just added a shortcut and says the same thing, too many downloads. Not available at this time. rocky_mtn Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 @MaLd0n I was finally able to download the files, thank you. Can I ask for a little advice? I am currently running 10.15.6 Catalina with Clover and I have been wanting to make the switch to OpenCore. My 10.15.6 install is on my 1TB m.2 SSD and I have a spare 500GB SSD in the machine to tinker with. Should I just start a brand new install on the 500GB SSD of Big Sur with OpenCore and get it running, then migrate it to the m.2 when it's fine tuned? Should I use the USB method with beta 3? I just want to be successful with installing beta 3. Thanks as always. joostiphone Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 @MaLd0n I've successfully installed Big Sur beta 2 with Opencore 0.6.0 but I now want to upgrade to beta 3. When booting using the installer it gives me the following message and won't continue (no matter how long I wait). See attachment. Please note that I don't have a Thunderbolt Display if that is relevant to mention. Installed on the target drive or the install USB for this premade EFI? Reason I ask is because beta 3 installs fine on my SSD and works, but the moment I try to install it on my production nvme drive it will NOT install at all. The target nvme drive never shows itself in the opencore bootloader...Thanks!
