mwr_allen Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Hi MaLd0n, My Big Sur installation is working fine from the .raw file and I've used the resources folder to amend the boot them which is fine and boots well although I would like to hide unwanted boot screen icons like NVRAM, Preboot, Recovery, etc. and add my Windows OS to the boot screen but my Windows OS doesn't have an EFI that I can mount with OpenCore Configurator and can't add the bootmgfw.efi as I cannot find the PciRoot address for the windows drive and boot file. Is there any way to add my Windows OS to the OpenCore boot menu without the Windows OS being installed as GPT UEFI? Attached is my current boot screen. Thanks.04135857.png.zip

The next thing I'm trying to get running is the Apple boot chime and I have followed some instructions which has ended up showing this message prior to boot.Archive.zip I've added images of the error message and also my ProperTree view of my config.plist. Thanks.

mwr_allen Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 2 hours ago, anto barreca said: boot chime.zip 345.59 kB · 3 downloads ok, I've now raised minimum volume to 60 then tested not working and then changed audio out to 1 and tested not working. each time has the same error message prior to showing boot menu and also, since I first made changes to the config.plist to give boot chime I lost the Olarila gui and now has just the text only gui boot menu up in the top left of the screen. Could it be caused by incorrect PciRoot address to the audio hardware at all as I'm not sure if its correct device address. Thank you for all the help. 2 hours ago, anto barreca said: boot chime.zip 345.59 kB · 3 downloads And the audio file is present in resources folder.
anto barreca Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 usually the audio device is PciRoot (0x0) / Pci (0x1F, 0x3), you can check with hackintool (you can find it on the site) under pci device
