Hi MaLd0n ,

I have an ASUS X541UVK with i5-7200U CPU on which I successfully installed macOS Catalina and Windows 10 on the same SSD using Clover USB. I have managed to make somehow working Clover folder with which most of the laptop parts are working in macOS. But now when trying to boot with the OpenCore folder I made using this guide it doesn't even boot.

Can you please help me with making the OpenCore EFI folder?

And also can you please make me a DSDT (and SSDTs) because it seems too complicated to me?

I have made the OpenCore EFI folder using this tutorial, but I can't boot to macOS. The laptop restarts with kernel panic.

Using -igfxvesa macOS booted.

Now only the audio, wifi (DW1510) are working. I have no graphics acceleration (the framerate is very slow, the transparency does not work and the display is recognised as connected projector), the trackpad and the keyboard don't work, these is no battery percentage and sleep does not work.

Can you please patch the DSDT (and SSDTs) for me?

Awesome guide! The best, most simple and functional I've found. Thanks.
I followed the steps and normal boot on the pre-installed system with clover. Everything seems to be working fine.
The only problem is to boot in the Catalina installation media. Kernel panic ... photo attached in DUMP.zip.
Could you give me a Full SSDT DSDTpatch?DUMP.zip

Boot occurs normal in pre installation done with clover
The problem continues to load the USB for a fresh installation ... I keep getting this error with KP ... I'm using the same EFI for both

BIOS is properly adjusted;
DSDT in the ACPI folder and commented on config.plist;
config.plist according to dortania and this tread; (maybe missing an ACPI Patch?)

What am I missing? Thank you so much for your help

solved
just removed kexts related to the wifi card ... leaving only the essential ones in the folder ... boot -> installed OS -> re-paste kexts and taraaa ... Tks

Finally got big sur beta 2 working, can you check my sendme file? I upgraded from Catalina and changed from clover bootloader to opencore and its running well. My macOS system sounds appear to be working, but my audio on things like Apple Music and Youtube are not working. I'm also noticing some glitching on video from the graphics like I can briefly see the top menu in hackintool, but once the app loads completely the top menu bar where you can select pcie and other tabs, they are blank. I can upload a screenshot if that doesn't make sense. Anyhow, thanks again for the awesome work! Here is my sendme file. Please help with audio and video...

Well, I just realized my smbios changed. I should probably start with correcting that. I’ll bet that helps quite a bit. I’ll still take any suggestions anyone can think of. Thanks.

Trying to play videos on App TV but it doesn't work. The application closes when the video starts.
I did a search and it seems to be something related to VDADecoder.
I used VDADecoderChecker and returned a failure.
Is there anything I can do to solve this?

Any ideas why when I upgraded from Catalina to Big Sur I lost my audio EXCEPT on system sounds? My video is acting strange too. It looks good but theres a flicker if you mouse over a youtube video timeline or if I open hackintool the graphics look fine when I first open it, but then they go to crap and the buttons up top disappear?? The audio is bothering me most though. Please help me troubleshoot these two issues? Again, my system sounds are working, but playing audio from youtube or apple music is totally silent. I did also change from clover to opencore, am I missing a couple drivers that are needed for audio and video?

I think I'm going to just wipe and do a clean install. Everything worked fine on my test hard drive yesterday on a clean install. The problems started when I upgraded Catalina and switched the bootloader. I have to have audio ?

Audio fixed with fresh install, now to figure out why video is acting weird. Might need to update config.plist with the intel onboard video patch.
