Catalina 10.15.4 was working perfectly. Then i upgraded to 10.15.5 and now i am stuck with following screen: Boot Screen Image

This screen keeps looping indefinitely until i switch off my computer.

CPU- core i5 8400

MOBO - MSI Z370 PC PRO

GPU- UHD Graphics 630 IGP

I have tried to install the new catalina 10.15.5, but it freezes at 2 minutes before the end of the installation

Thank you @MaLd0n. after using igfxvesa, i successfully booted to Catalina 10.15.5. I find Intel UHD 630 7MB ram is showing in About this Mac. I followed this Youtube Tutorial  and my problem is fixed. Thank You again. My config.plist is attached here

i did it (with RW-everything) and patch in acpi/patched  folder but it is still freezing at 2 min before end of installation

u need extract and patch

only extract = oem dsdt from bios

I have a problem with USB 3.0 ports after the 10.15.5 update. With X79 chipset, i must reload the USBInjectall kext because the USB 3.0 ports on the MB stopped working (and now they are working as USB 2.0  ). Any ideas about it ?

ur usb 3 is not intel, u need one extra kext for it

Olarila Catalina 10.15.5 doesn't work for me. According to the install program I do need a working internet connection. Though my rig has wifi and Lan, apparently no drivers for this hardware were loaded. Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-Z77 -D3H

Just wanted to drop in and thank you for the great work you've been doing!  I'm finally able to install Catalina (10.15.5) because of your files and everything is perfect.
Is it safe to install the new supplemental update?
