Hi guys, 

I'm trying to help a friend with his GB - Z77-DS3H, i7 2600K, RX580 hack. Trying to boot with the linked EFI folder doesn't show even the picker. I tried several things but without success. Can you take a look and give me some advice? Keep in mind that the main issue is that the hack is not in my possession and I can have limited time with it.

The DSDT is patched long time ago by MaLd0n

The rig is booting with clover at the moment with no issues. In BIOS CSM and Secure Boot is disabled and the Boot OS is set as Other OS.

THanks so much, what I did was used this  dsdt with sereies 6 EFI, injecting Nvidia, all works fine, except BT (AR9285) and backlight control.  Could you give some hints, please.

Hi,

As I mentioned before, with the new dsdt and config file system works well.  But I have a few issues left.

1. System does not power off on shut down.  It goes through the process screen becomes black Sleep/hibernate does not work, .
2. Does not go to sleep mode neither by closing the lid nor by choosing sleep from menu

I tried to upload my send file but t is larger than allowed size.  I also tried to go through donnation chatroom, it does not recognize me, I used another account

Hello, i use a gigabyte h55m-usb3 that use bios and not uefi, i still do the same steps on uefi part?

 

I also have a ssdt i requested here in the past and made my usb mapping using hackintools in the past, can i reuse them on opencore?

Hello MaLd0n, 

I have Big Sur installed with OpenCore, everything seems to be working good except the graphics.

I have 2 graphics card on my PC:

PCI Slot1: GTX 970

PCI Slot2: GTX 650

I also have 2 monitors:

-HP OMEN 25 connected to GTX 650 by DVI.

-Samsung C32JG5x connected to both 650 (by HDMI) & 970 (by DP).

When I boot the hackintosh, it starts on PCI Slot1, verbose process finish and then I have the problem:

Both DVI & HDMI are working, but OS X detects 3 screens, not 2.

The problem is I need to mirror displays so I can see the main one, the DVI and HDMI displays connected to 650 are not the principal display.

Do you know what can I do? Maybe disable PCI Slot1?
