Krzychu Miksza Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Hi, I have a problem with touchpad. It was not showing up in the setting since first boot. I have downloaded latest Voodoo drivers from: https://github.com/alexandred/VoodooI2C/releases but still doesn't work. it was showing touchpad setting but after reboot it disapeared. Tried to patch DSDT myself but only wasted couple of hours. I failed. I menaged to make trackpad sys prefs visible and geni2c to detect it but it doesnt work. Strange when i deleted voodooELAN it works but its „ghost cursor”. Releasing a trackpad doesnt stop the cursor and sys prefs are not present. Its dead end for me

Works weird without the driver but not showing up in system prefs. and with ELAN kext trackpad is showing up in system prefer but doesn't work. also found this: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/drivers/input/mouse/elan_i2c_core.c if there is a need of patching but I'm sure that this is impossible to patch and make it work ?
