Ola folks!

First off! Newbie alert! So please take it easy on me. :help

Secondly, it is a RELIEF to find a "still alive" forum for Hackintosh! :frantics All others like Niresh are dead & sleeping with the fishes.

ok, so not the nitty-gritty;

As you can probably tell, after many many trials :wallbash , I got Niresh Mojave to run, but ethernet would not work. And so here I am, asking for help :help

I tried the Olarilla Mojave raw image from here, but it just reboots after Clover when I try to install it. I tried "Config2" from the menu, but that did not help either. :?

You guys are the experts, so please advice;

1) Can I get my ethernet going on Niresh Mojave with Clover Kext injects? HP specs say I have a Realtek ethernet controller.

I tried copying "RealtekRTL8111.kext" to "Clover/kexts/Other", but that did no good. :cry:

or 2) Should I work with Orilla Mojave, and install it, and then hopefully my ethernet would be working too ?

Many many thanks!

Thank you MaLd0n for the reply! I really appreciate it. :) I got no help on HackintoshZone even though I donated to the site. And I got this HP Probook because I read it was compatible with Hackintosh. I had read that everything except Wifi would work. But Ethernet is not working either.

So you are recommending I keep trying to find the right version of the Kext to try to fix the Ethernet? :?:

Hello MaLd0n! Thank you for trying to help me. :) I have been working on that Kext for a while now. And here is an update; :!:

I think I know why the Kext is not installing; there is a problem with the "Code Signing Failure: not code signed" (screenshot below) when I run the command;

"'kextutil /Library/Extenstions/RealtekRTL8111.kext".

Kext-Load-Fail1.jpg

I tried all the kexts for that LAN from the links you shared & other links, and got the same result. :wallbash

I have checked whether System Integrity Protection (SIP) is disabled in Clover & all the checkboxes under Options-System Parameters were checked & as you can see below, "Kext Signing" is disabled;

I don't know why kext loading if failing or how to make it work. Any ideas?

Here is a list of all Kexts I have tried;

Thank you again for all the help.
