Gigabyte Z370N Wifi DSDT Patching Guide

Hi everyone :)

I would like to learn how to patch a DSDT myself and hope someone is willing to help me understand why and how things need to get done.

According to https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=6521, the DSDT can be extracted in Windows, that is clear so far.

Back in MacOS, the DSDT is modified and compiled with MaciASL – this is clear as well for me.

But how do I know which patches to choose and how do I make sure that the DSDT is compiled correctly (yep, you're right – I'm a noob)?

Hope someone is willing to educate me and point me in the right direction. By the way, my parts are listed in the signature.

Thanks in advance,

rramon

Hey rramonare you the same user who posted on Tonys forum? really nice and informative update. Unfortunately I can't give you a lot of info on DSDT patching (I'm a noob myself) and I ask MaLd0nfor for the DSDT patch. I'm running the same System as yours on Mojave at the moment with OpenCore config , only USB patching applied.

Hi @MaLd0n

thanks for naming the necessary patches.

I'll have a look at the procedure and come back with lots of questions.
