Milesy303 Posted December 25, 2019 Share Posted December 25, 2019 I have installed the Catalina image into my new machine. I7-8700 cpu 16Gb ram. Gigabyte 310 motherboard I believe (and I could be wrong) that the graphics onboard the motherboard are intel 630? Once I boot up the colours are wrong, and windows aren’t behaving correctly. I can’t see the desktop as any windows leave white trails behind, and after several minutes things start to lock up and it’s difficult to do anything such as making config changes etc. I tried the video patch but it didn’t make any difference. It asks to mount my efi partition and then writes to the clover config. The time stamp verifies this. When I boot after that the display is even worse. It’s all purple and messed with up.
