ragimund Posted November 23, 2019 Author Posted November 23, 2019 Hi MaLdOn 1# Can you help me with my CPU speed ? It's always at 2.40Ghz, but it can do 3.20Ghz. I think this relates to NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, am I right ? What I have read from forums, I should remove this kext and replace it with "Apple-something".kext and patch my SSDT with Rehabs script "ssdtPWRGen-something" but I don't fully understand it. I know that it supports my double CPU's (2 x E5-2695v2). Ivy Bridge.cfg 'E5-2695 v2',115,1200,2400,3200,12,24 Can you help me and patch my current SSDT ? Please ? I will attach my current EFI.zip and RunMe.zip links to TinyUpload. I had some help (new EFI) from other Z820 users in InsanelyMac forum, where you are also (noticed) - but you are my First Helper & Mentor 2# I have downloaded Rehabs FakeSMC and Sensors, and HWmonitor (latest 2018-0915). It works, kind of, but it shows only 8 Cores ? Should it show more ? I attached screenshot photo from HWMonitor. Should it be configured more from somewhere ? I have that VooDooKext, that you edited for me (Value 47 -> 24 C / 48 T) 3# My USB's should work now, as USB2.0 and USB3.0 (XCHI now for USB3.0 found) - haven't tested the "speed" yet. But when I have something in front 1 x USB2.0 (now M$ wireless KB & Mouse dongle), and I connect any USB Pen drive (stick, (any brand or size) to any front USB3.0 ports, my mouse acts weird - really hard to use or point anything, bad response and moves in big leaps. IF I pull USB Pen drive away the mouse starts to work normally immediately. Same thing if I connect anything to back 2 x USB3.0, as I have connected Bluetooth dongle to one of four USB2.0 ports in the back. Is this something IRQ related or something ? Can you help me MaLdOn, please ? #1 would be Super #2 nice extra add (for #1? #3 ? Then my Hackintosh would finally be ready, I could start installing applications to it and start working with it. and then I could also make that Support Donation to you via Paypal as you have helped me on my first Hackintosh. Next one's will be more newer HW and all Intel based so I could just use your ready Images RunMe.Zip http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=08341878567422049565 EFI http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=09122080084172215212 HWmon screenshot http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=35174635586386551418

antonio.clb Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 Hello to everybody! I'm active on Insanely Mac's thread and yesterday I've successfully updated my Z620 to Catalina 10.15.2. Everything looks fine after a LILU/WEG update and AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext to avoid KP on boot. PM looks working well without any AICPM patch (used Clover switch) and LegacyX86PlatformPlugin.kext in L/E (previously oin S/L/E, Catalina update moved it). I've a question about XCPM, here's my relevant infos: Mac-Pro-di-Antonio:~ antonio$ kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu 40 0 0xffffff7f81fc6000 0x2a000 0x2a000 com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement (222.0.0) E3D6BA7C-CAAA-3125-A74B-DCD4B00960BD <8 7 6 5 3 1> 54 0 0xffffff7f8204e000 0x3000 0x3000 com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementClient (222.0.0) 003F60E0-5A36-315D-AAEB-B81F22F9B8B2 <8 7 6 5 3 1> Mac-Pro-di-Antonio:~ antonio$ kextstat|grep -y x86plat 127 1 0xffffff7f82e18000 0x18000 0x18000 com.apple.driver.X86PlatformPlugin (999.9.9) 134B18EB-0AF1-3844-B968-332792E91614 <126 63 25 15 12 8 7 6 5 3 1> 151 1 0xffffff7f830e8000 0x7000 0x7000 com.apple.driver.X86PlatformShim (1.0.0) F90748F4-FED4-384F-96EA-EC02E59021BE <127 126 15 8 5 3> Mac-Pro-di-Antonio:~ antonio$ sysctl -n machdep.xcpm.vectors_loaded_count 0 Mac-Pro-di-Antonio:~ antonio$ sysctl -n machdep.xcpm.mode 0 MaLd0n could you please clarify me exactly what XCPM/XCPM_IPI are and why we have these results from sysctl commands? At home, my i7 4770K Hackintosh gives "1" in reply to those commands (PluginType). I can provide more infos and the output of RunMe.app on both machines if needed. antonio.clb Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Good morning to all! antonio.clb, would you be so kind as to share your EFI folder? I'm having some problems with USB 3 and sleeping on the Z620 with Catalina. Hello! Sleeping is not working at all (at least, never tried based on bilbo's guide on InsanelyMac). USB 3 ha some issues (hub and/or devices not showing but working): I've solved this by installing a USB 3.1 Gen2 PCIe adaptor (ASMEDIA 1142/1543). I'll share my EFI folder ASAP, I'm AFK...
