Thanks [ref]MaLd0n[/ref]

I have just a few questions,

My laptop specification according to Lenovo is:

- Intel® Core i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz

- Intel graphics with 1536 MB

but your configuration is 1.99GHz and 2048MB of VRAM, where can I change those values? or are they irrelevant ?

Thanks

I have found more issues... not critical, but annoying.

First, sleep is not reliable, sometimes it works very well, sometimes not. (when I reopen the lid, the screen remains black or alternate between black and grey.. so i have to hard power off).

Second, audio is usually working good. However, when I connect headphones, sometimes I get a distorted audio (similar to mono sound). This is not easy to reproduce, it seems that the issue disappear after system is rebooted. And, it seems more easy to reproduce at cold boot (turn-off completely, then turn-on and boot). I'll try to play with layout-id parameter of AppleALC in next days... or maybe I have to remove AppleALC and use VoodooHDA instead.

PS. My audio device (as I see from Windows) is Realtek ALC230 (vendorID = 10ec, deviceID = 0x0230, subsys = 17aa382c)

--------------

EDIT: The problem with headphones is apparently resolved. I was using an older version of config.plist with an injected audio device not needed. Now, I'm using same settings from config.plist in first post by Mald0n, that is removing audio device (keeping only the device for uhd620), and specifying '20' in Audio inject field. Let's cross the fingers...

Hi @Mald0n,

I tried the newer EFI ( and DSDT.aml) and unfortunately my hackintosh broke...

It was just a black screen after the loading of bar adjacent to apple logo... Apparently the brightness was increasing and decreasing with the keys so meaning that the system was working in bg.. I tried to boot from USB and it did not boot.. I reinstalled windows and now am back on Mojave !!

Shouldn't have altered my already working Hackintosh :|

Are you saying that Lenovo has updated the BIOS so that hackintosh users will get some benefit from that? I'm not so sure... but I could be wrong. Anyway I will do that. Do we have an archive of previous BIOS, just in case we need to return back?

Is there any way I can update bios on my hackintosh without going back to Windows 10?

That operating system is too bad to be installed in dual boot on our lenovo machine. I suggest you to install it on an external usb drive (as I did) so you can use all the SSD space for macOS. Check on google for the WinToUSB tool...

Using your patch bluetooth works in my machine , I didn't need to install any additional hw.

I was afraid to do it coz I saw in your first post that de card you bought doesn't work on Windows. I am waiting to see what card people are using ( that works both wifi and bluetooth) and on Windows as well, coz I dual boot my machine , so I need Wifi on both OSs

May I ask why you chose to do so?, I mean, if I understood correctly, you're using a usb wifi card on Windows coz the DW1560 does not work on Windows but you're using the DW1560 card on OSX.

Hi [ref]MaLd0n[/ref],

Did you managed to activate the numlock key? I mean the numeric keys on the right side , to enable/disable it in order to use the pg up/down keys.

Also, the caps lock key led is not turned on. If I press it the led turns on for a sec, but then it turns off immediately.

Regards

Hi, I was reading the post and all the comments. I have installed Mac OS 10.15.1 thanks to @MaLd0n for its EFI folder. everything works except the touchpad. On IOREG appears as ELAN0629 as well as the user @user748832, I use the following guide : https://github.com/alexandred/VoodooI2C/pull/191/files#diff-2956980392a5cef855a8135904c939f3, I try with 0x6e , 0x42 , 0x1B, etc.. but it didn't work. I would like to know which hexadecimal GPIO pin number used and which kexts are finally the ones that made this model work. in my case in the trackpad configuration appears looking for bluetooth trackpad. If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it very much.

Seria incrível se alguém postasse o DSDT que funcionasse esse modelo de trackpad, sou bem noob, no assunto, aqui aparece os gestos, mas o trackpad ainda não funciona
