gabriel_rinaldi Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 [ref]MaLd0n[/ref] I have a very similar setup, with a few differences: - I have an NVIDIA card (2080 Ti) on slot 1 (I have a dual boot with Windows) - I have a Radeon Nitro 580 on slot 2 - I have a PCI card with an original MacBook wifi/Bluetooth card for unlocking with the Apple Watch - Running Catalina Is it safe to use your EFI folder including the DSDT patches? Is it ok to have the NVIDIA card (It is not working on Mac, but I don't know if it causes problems)? Also, why are you using UBBInjectAll instead of creating the patch?

Obrigado Send me iMac-de-Dede.zip

DEDECO Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 (edited) [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], Obrigado.

nosoapradio Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 Hello. I have essentially the same specs as your Designare system (except Vega 56 vs your 64). I've been running this as a hackintosh for a while. It's pretty solid, but I think your method looks more desirable. My question, is if I redo my system with your method would I gain anything with going with Catalina or is Mojave the better (more stable) Designare/i9 setup? Thanks.

ginobambino Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Hi there, I have the same hardware, just using a i7 9700K and different ram and I'm using your EFI to install Catalina on this build but I keep getting a black screen after I start the installation from the clover bootloader. When I say black screen I actually mean that my screen just doesn't get a signal anymore and turns off. I don't even reach the Catalina install screen (where I can pick disk utility etc). I'm connected straight to the iGPU since I'm trying to run an AMD RX 5700 XT (hence trying to install catalina) I've added the pikera bootarg in whatevergreen, since I heard this might help things but to no avail. Actually it sounds like my display is just not picking up the signal even thought when I touch my keyboard I can hear the fans kicking off and the computer "waking up" it seems like it's a display driver issue Any help would be greatly appreciated
