[ref]MaLd0n[/ref], HI Daniel, I am trying to switch from Clover to OC, I am downloading the EFI OC file from the first post and I am putting it in USB, when I try to boot from OC in that USB drive using mine working Catalina installed on HDD, the computer restarts at the moment he starts loading. OC does not generate any file so I can check possible errors.

I mean when I select boot option 3 (my working MacOS) it starts loading for a second then restarts.

I have ASUS Prime Z370-A with 8700 CPU and 2xRX580

Applies AppleALC audio injection, you'll need to do your own research on which codec your motherboard has and match it with AppleALC's layout. AppleALC Supported Codecs. I tried to one by one the layout

Hi there!

Need a hand on this one: I've my system booting almost perfectly via OpenCore 0.5.2 with the attached settings. The only problems are not being able to use my previous DSDT (patched by maldon), some USB-related doubts and no sleep. Probably a valid DSDT for OpenCore would fix all my issues, given that the same system boots perfect (with maldon's patched DSDT) via Clover.

So my problem is that my previous DSDT doesn't work with OpenCore, so I need a new one. Could you please help me?

My apologies: since I started fiddling with OpenCore I did just one sleep check (that failed), but it seems after enabling "plugin-type=1" via SSDT-PLUG.aml and after adding the correct device id and ig-platform-id for my IGPU, sleep works as it should.

Remaining problems: internal audio doesn't work, but HDMI audio does (Lilu and AppleALC are within my kexts folder, don't know what to check) and USB behaviour (still have to double check that every port works the way it should).

Regarding DSDT and SSDT, some questions:

- Can I use a DSDT for populating PCI entries in System Profiler? Is it necessary? Via Clover it just works with your patched DSDT...

- Can I use the same SSDT-UIAC.aml that I was using with Clover?

- Regarding the loading order of DSDT's and SSDT's: is it so important with OpenCore? Any reference on what should be loaded first and why?

First, stay with one USB Stick bootable for rescue if need or use EFI folder in USB Stick bootable with MacOs

*If u have a DSDT patched for Clover, don't use, need patch again for OC

1- Mount EFI partition and paste full EFI folder
