Yes, I tried adding the nvme driver to my Mac and it had it rebooted after a few minutes after starting. I tried adding it to the Catalina install disk and it would start up and then would not finish the apple logo before it panicked and restarted. And that was with nothing except the the RX 570 card. I don't know enough to twiddle beyond that. I did see stuff about io hacks but it seemed to say it wasn't needed for Catalina.

OK. Had old windows lying around and updated the firmware. Installed in the M2 slot and used CCC. Added Clover folder. Reboot. Selected it in bios boot. Don't really see a speed difference Am I missing something?

How in the world do you know all this? Do you have hardware vendors send you stuff? I see I should have gotten the SAMSUNG 960 EVO M.2 250GB from another post. So, I could put Linux on it and use it in a card, then get the 960 and use CCC?

Hello there. I have a perfectly working Hack on Lenovo Ideapad 15IKB. Currently on Mojave fully updated. However I want to to update to Catalina. But I am running into the following issue..I don't know how to get past it. Apparently a update should be as simple as updating a real mac. But I always get this KP. I can't seem to attach my sendme file cuz it says file too large on the attachment.

fiz uma instalação limpa do Catalina hoje, e consegui habilitar o som usando applealc, mas quando coloco o fone de ouvido, a sistema, reconhece, muda pra saida de fone, mas não sai som.

alguma sugestão?
