Try this solution used in other versions of Mac OS: boot with -s (single user mode) and run

mount -uw /
touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
reboot

I've never seen this problem in Lion, you should consider a new installation erasing the partition.

1st off great disk. I am trying to install this on a dell d630. This gets me further then anything else I have downloaded but seems to lockup when osx goes to install the system to disc. It just says 20 minutes and then it freezes. Any suggestions?

Try to move or click the mouse, sometimes only the video freezes.

If it's a dmg from App Store you should succeed building the DVD, but if it will work or not, depends on your hardware.

You can download the resulting ISO, join Olarila.com/chat and type "? liondvd".

No, I won't make a video. There are many guides and videos about installing Lion, if this isn't good enough for you, I'm sure you can find a better one.
